Right now, I consider this v1.0, as I intended to add some sort of distortion FX for the vocals, but just wasn't satisfied with what I could come up with using my existing plug-ins on Audacity (I even tried an Autotune plug-in, but couldn't get the hang of it). At any rate, I decided to release it as is and let you, my humble fellow Soundcloud followers and listeners, judge for yourselves.

've been cranking out mashups since '08, was a member of mashup forum GYBO up until it's utter demise in August of 2012, joined Mashstix earlier that same year.

UPDATE 11/25/14: OK, I know I've been somewhat MIA for most of the year. Short story: my old laptop was, shall we say, somewhat unreliable until the hard drive went kaput around mid-September. Now working with a brand spanking new one, so there's still hope for a return(Cross your fingers!).
A little heads up for my followers: enjoy what's up here now, because I might be taking everything down (provided SC doesn't beat me at it first), and starting over with brand spanking new mashies and, quite possibly, a new ID. Also, there's a good chance I will be compiling my previous work (et al., the tracks you see here now) for an album in archive form, some of which will be reproduced in new versions! More to come...

...well, sort of. I'll expain... 

OK, I know I've kept all of yous in suspense for, what, 6, maybe 7 years since the last time I posted anything on this here SC account, likely asking yourselves, "Hey, whatever happened to that MashWiz fella, anyway?" Well, the simple answer is, as I'm sure you can guess, life got in the way BIG TIME! But for those of you whom I've been following for all this time here, you already know that I've still been perusing newly posted tracks and dropping comments from time to time. 

Well, first off, I'm sure I don't have to state too clearly how things have been drastically altered here in the States after being slammed by the Shitstorm Of The Century, namely the shenanigans wrought by the former regime masterminded by POTUS #45. As if having to go through 4 years of oblivion, misery, and a pessimistic outlook on what would have been "the future",  under a narcissistic, delusional, and downright pathetic excuse of a "leader" (more like "bleeder"), topped off promptly by a pandemic, wasn't enough, it wasn't long before the effects would breach my attempts at abstinence from any interest in the world of politics, as well as my life in general, such as it was. Yes, I and my immedate family too suffered much loss and tumult during that time, For me, though, the nadir was the loss of a beloved pet in November (not COVID-related), which left me emotionally reeling for months. But, all things considered, we've managed to survive and things are slowly progressing and reverting back to optimum condition and pace.

So, now that you're up to speed, I shall proceed with this formal announcement:

MashWiz...is DEAD! DEAD, I TELL YOU!!! MWAAAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA!!! 
Ahem, er...

As such, effective upon my next posting (and as hinted in my previous update), I shall henceforth be taking on a new identity which will be revealed within same said post, depending on how smoothly the transition goes.

So hold on to your ears and hang on to your seats, folks!

For any of you who expected or requested a D/L of my Ylvis mashups, I'm sorry, but I won't be able to upload them again due to the fact that the hard drive in which all my original work is stored has been having issues that, for the unforeseeable future, prevents me from accessing them. I may, time permitting, produce new versions of them sometime down the road. Once I have them uploaded, new D/L links will be posted.
