Patience and Certainty: The Two Foundations of Steadfastness - By Abu ‘Inaayah Seif

A glimpse into the lives of the wives of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him)

'Ā'ishah bint Abī Bakr as-Siddeeq (may Allāh be pleased with her)

Lesson Two The Mothers of the Believers: 'Ā'ishah bint Abī Bakr as-Siddeeq (may Allāh be pleased with her)

- “You are the best nation ever raised up for mankind; you enjoin al-Ma'rūf (i.e. Islamic Monotheism and all that Islam has ordained) and forbid al-Munkar (polytheism, disbelief and all that Islam has forbidden), and you believe in Allāh.” [Sūrah Āli ‘Imrān 3:110]
-  “And hold fast, all of you together, to the Rope of Allāh, and be not divided among yourselves, and remember Allāh's Favour on you, for you were enemies one to another but He joined your hearts together, so that, by His Grace, you became brethren…” [Sūrah Āl ‘Imrān 3:103]
- Truly! This, your Ummah [Sharī’ah or religion] is one religion, and I am your Lord, therefore worship Me (Alone).” [Sūrah al-Anbiyā 21:92]
- The mercy of unity and destruction/punishment of differing. 
- The perceived “unity” of the unbelievers.
- True unity. 
- Examples of how the dīn of Islām calls to unity. 
- That which unites the hearts. 
- “And obey Allāh and His Messenger, and do not dispute (with one another) lest you lose courage and your strength depart, and be patient. Surely, Allāh is with those who are aṣ-Ṣābirīn (the patient ones).” [Sūrah al-Anfāl 8:46]
- Ahādīth that describe the closeness of the believers. 
- “O you who have believed, obey Allāh and obey the Messenger and those in authority over you. And if you disagree among yourselves over anything then refer it back to Allāh and the Messenger if you truly believe in Allāh and the Last Day. That is better (conduct) and (leads to) the most excellent outcome.” [Sūrah an-Nisā 4:59]
- Hastening to rectification and caution against allowing ill feelings to fester and enter into the hearts.
- “But no, by your Lord, they will not [truly] believe until they make you, [O Muḥammad], judge concerning that over which they dispute among themselves and then find within themselves no discomfort from what you have judged and submit in [full, willing] submission.” [Sūrah an-Nisā 4:65]
- The consequences of turning away from the Qur’ān and Sunnah. 


Hold on to the Rope of Allāh and do not be Divided  By Abu Fudayl 10102025

[10/10/2025] The Agonising Cries and Pleas of The People of the Hellfire - Sh Abu Idrees Muhammad Khān حفظه الله. Khuṭbah at Masjid As-Sunnah An-Nabawiyyah, Aston, Birmingham, UK.

Some points discussed during this Khuṭbah:

– The reality of death.
– The conversation that will occur between the slave and His Lord regarding the moment of death.
– The conversation occurring during the moment when the hell fire is witnessed at the crossing of the bridge.

1. Revelation from Allah
2. Names of the Books
3. Contents of the Original Books – those that haven’t been altered.
4. Act upon the rulings and be pleased with it along with submission, whether we understand it or not.
– Benefits of believing in the Books.
– Belief in the Messengers.
– Linguistic and legislative meaning of Messengers.
– The difference between Prophets and Messengers.
– Description of the Messengers.
– Following the Sunnah of the Messenger is the real way of loving the Messenger ﷺ.
– The four matters that comprises of the Belief in the Messengers
– Reminder regarding being truthful in submitting and accepting the Sunnah and the legislation – strength lies in this.

41 Explanation of the Three Principles by Abu Idrees

● These six principles are so clear and easy to comprehend.

● Allāh clarified these principles for everyone to understand and implement.

• Definition of what is a principle.

• A sign that Allāh wants good for you.

• Even though these principles are clear, sadly many misunderstand them.

• Those who prefer to follow what their forefathers were upon instead of the revelation which was sent down to the Messengers.

• Many have taken to just reading the Qur'ān for its reward only, without reflecting and pondering over it.

• What is the purpose behind seeking knowledge?

• From the means of obtaining the love of Allāh is reciting the Qur'ān with reflection. 

• The Qur'ān is a protection, a guidance, a barrier, a light, a cure and a mercy.

• The true objective behind the recitation of the Qur'ān. 




Lesson One The Six Fundamental Principles By Shaykhul Islām Muhammad bin 'Abdul Wahāb (رحمه الله)

• Paradise is surrounded by that which entails difficulty and struggle.

• What are the desires that surround the Hellfire?

• Ibn al-Qayyim: It is essential to oppose one’s lowly desires, and to avoid the people of desires and disobedience.

• Only a small minority of people are not heedless of the remembrance of Allāh.

• The causes and roots of evil.

• How does one attain Paradise?

• What leads a person to fall into the Hellfire?

• There are only two eternal abodes — Paradise and the Hellfire. Which one do you desire, and for which are you striving?

• When Jibreel saw Paradise and the Hellfire.

• A profound parable explaining why people fall into sin.

• Eemān (faith) wears away — beg Allāh to renew your Eemān.

• How does one hold themselves to account?

• The tears of 'Alī (may Allāh be pleased with him).

• The two causes of deviation.

• The key to Paradise.

• For whom is the good and blessed end?

• The harmful and corrupting influence of music.

• Who are those truly endowed with intelligence?

• Do not think of your sins as insignificant.

• Shaytān desires nothing more than that you cease repenting.



Paradise is surrounded by hardships and Hellfire is surrounded by temptations
