The 23rd flight from the Pilot label run by Burnski is a future-facing blend of tech, disco and house with a real intergalactic aesthetic. Korean-born, New Zealand-based producer La Felix unveils his latest musical endeavor with the release of the electrifying Bassline Jump EP. Known for his vibrant fusion of nu-disco, funk, and house music, La Felix continues to push boundaries with tracks that are both timeless and irresistibly danceable.

Inspired by the legendary Prince, La Felix brings a fresh twist to classic disco elements in his new EP. “For HOT,” La Felix shares, “I was inspired by Prince-esque guitars played super high up on the fret, with a super tight staccato rhythm. Once I had the rhythm down, I knew I wanted the track to revolve around the theme of something ‘HOT’.”

The EP features a dynamic lineup of tracks including Bassline Jump. Each track showcases La Felix’s knack for crafting infectious grooves with a contemporary edge, while honouring the golden era of disco and funk.
