For our next release we invited the French amigo, co-owner of the already famous FRAPPÉ imprint Basile de Suresnes. For this collection Basile took an old composition from the French diva Edith Piaf called "La vie en rose", which Louis Armstrong (an American trompist) covered years ago in English, giving new life to this tune, and the guys represented by our friend and resident HATT.D and Naux who is gaining strong momentum made confident remixes for the dance floor.

Olek, a producer from Berlin, premieres on Endless Music with his new 'Satori' EP.
The very groovy EP comes with three dancefloor-ready tracks that will surely bring a very positive vibe to listeners and dancers alike. Subtle sonic features define the very 'analogue' sound of Olek's productions and all three tracks feature very well arranged percussion lines with clever use of dynamics and shuffle techniques.
The title track 'Satori' features beautiful string arrangements and pristine electric piano riffs with subtle soloing on top.
The slightly deeper sounding drums of the second track, 'Swimming', get complemented by the funky voice sample chops layered over the track. You'll encounter a slightly more minimalistic yet very pure and straightforward approach to house on this one.
'Funkstille' features captivating speech samples and guitar licks that bring an additional funky touch to the almost eerie synthesizer pads in the background, layered over a tastefully produced drum section and bass lines that just sit right.
This EP shows the producer's skill of groove creation with a minimalist and almost puristic approach to rhythm and bass.

PREMIERE: Olek - Satori [Endless Music]

The Berliner Marc Brauner has been positively shaking the house music scene over the past years with releases on excellent labels such as Shall Not Fade or Houseum Records. Kicking off his stuttering musical career playing drums at the age of 5 and practicing in a percussion band for 8 years, he discovered the house music territory back in 2009. As a producer, Marc finds his anchor point into classic, melodic and captivating deep house with a tad of fulminating breakbeat notes. He is always going off the beaten tracks: from producing jams for luxury brands like Jil Sander or L’Oreal to co-founding the live acid and tech house project Traffic Report, by way of co-creating the collective “We Change The Weather“ that organized gigs in Bremen. In 2019, the release of his well-known “Sad But Amibitious” EP on the Houseum channel has fast-tracked his career and, the year after, he was lauching his own deep house label Nostalgics together with the man Tender Games. All those projects proved his musical variety and beautifully cross-fertilized, resulting in Marc being heavily featured lately in Berlin as well as across other European cities in renowned clubs like Rex, Wilde Renate or Sisyphos.

As expected from him, he has concocted for us a pumping hour of house, deep house and acid grooves from Cinthie, no_4mat or Chriss Stussy. This is the perfect treat to get in the mood before the reopening of clubs in lots of countries next week.

The Paris based producer and DJ is an outstanding talent in creating emotions. It is probably exactly that what makes him one of the most promising artists of the Parisian house scene according to Trax Magazine. Through the last year, he was very keen on building up a studio in Paris. His enthusiasm for studio gear leads to a new level of production skills. “Interlude” and “Duophonie (Jazz Mix)” are two perfect examples for the symbiosis of sampling, synthesis and sound design. These two tracks fascinated us with their richness of detail and liveliness, and so we decided to build a whole EP around these beautiful tracks.

After the release of his “You Took My Love EP” in spring 2019 he took the time to rebuild his studio and work on new ways to create sounds and textures. Remixing for one of his most appreciated artists of the current house scene is, without a doubt, the perfect time to release the sound he was working on during the last months.

Daria Salin’s painting speaks louder than any word and reflects the structures and details of Tour-Maubourg’s music.
