2021 is being a very prolific year for Spanish label Night Shift Records with all their releases reaching the top of the sales charts. After the success of the past references by the owner of the label Javi Frias and the San Diego superstar Never Dull, now it is the turn of Solazz, founding member of the Supa Disco project born five years ago in Ibiza, which debuts at the label with an amazing four track EP titled 'Highlife Disco'. Side A includes 'Work It Out', a great rework that includes a great bass line added to the original that makes it irresistible to dance, and 'Time's Running' a groovy summer vibe track that contains high-pitch voice side-walking with a top synth bass. On the B side, 'Roller Skate INC' strikes your body with conga rhythms and a funky bass, and last but not least 'Highlife Music', a killer track of afro-disco with piano house touches, evolving synths and great sax solo that will make you dance again!

PREMIERE: Solazz - Work It Out [Night Shift Records]

Montreal's Fonkynson wraps up a busy year for Heavy Disco with this power-house french touch EP complete with a remix from the Netherlands' hardest working remixer and man of mystery G-Thor.

The EP kicks off with 'Right Thing', a gentle head nod to the likes of Chromeo with more driving house  production. It's followed by 'In My Heart' which is a classic turbo charged disco edit sound. 'The Queen' is a groove based slow burner. The EP is wrapped up with G-Thor ripping to shreds 'Right Thing' and re-building it in only the way he can.

After a string of remixes, the electro-funk producer releases his first EP under the alias 'Fonkynson'. Fans of Ed Banger take note!

Mr Stabalina is a happy man and it’s infectious. He only seems to make good-time music that causes immediate engorgement and big cheesy grins. He wakes in the morning and cartoon birds flutter through his window and dress him whilst carrying him to the breakfast table, where aggressively ovulating chickens have prepared him soufflé. He moonwalks to the studio and everyone he passes stops and grins and spontaneously orgasms. How does he do it? We don’t know!
