All the way from Japan, 24-year-old DJ and producer AFAMoo makes his appearance for the first time in theBasement Discos.  Since his first EP released in 2016, AFAMoo has only been releasing tracks full of joy on labels such as UGONGETIT (Lobster Theremin's import label), Russian finest Lisztomania and French favorite Ondule Recordings.  On this five-track EP named Do What You Want, AFAMoo makes sure to lift everyones mood by putting together extremely groovy tunes, jazzy vibes and melodic catchy vocals.  This EP ends with a superb remix from the French DJ and producer Chevals, who adds his own style to the music as well as to the vocals with more disco and funky sounds.

We first heard Indigo Jung's title track GOD as a rough demo at the start of 2020. Even as a 30 second preview, we knew this wasn’t your average house track. Today, we're buzzing to bring you the full project. He’s cooked up two unique house excursions with creative sampling and ear bending arrangements. Adding more fuel to the fire, we've enlisted the help of two hot upcoming talents, Sam Goes To Tokyo and DJ Streaks, for remix duties. Sam turns out a latin reimagining of the title track. While DJ Steaks juxtaposes the energy of Done For with an ambient summer chill out vibe. Not one to miss!

The second release out of the gate on Jarc Sounds is by the label heads. They are interplanetary funksters from the mothership, inspired by a plethora of dance music, DJ’s, edits & cut ups.
Duo Jarc are both are extremely experienced DJ’s & producers keeping their names out of the frame. Their ethos is inspired by the funk of James Brown and Parliament, the groove of The Gap Band, and the Disco of Odyssey & Chic.
Jarc throwback to the early sounds of Paradise Garage. It’s clear these two simply love the groove, the funk & the spirit of the dance.
There’s funk and Disco vibes aplenty inside these three refreshing reworks. The opener is the lazy slowed down, funk grooved “Brooklyn Baby”, followed by the thumping disco driven “Love Ecstasy”, topped off with a naughty little reframe of “Falling In love”. Now where's that dancefloor?
