From the turrets of key London partymaker and imprint, Tief's towers, comes their eighth release. The Colourless EP by Auckland native, Jon Sable, is a double single exhibiting Sable's musical background, bridging hip-hop, soul, funk, electronic and a little bit of everything else along the way. "Dust 2 Ashes" puts a hazy, laid back spin on the well versed house and techno sound, with its skippy hats and reverb rich keys lackadaisically floating about throughout. Not to mention our favourite Swedish duo, Mount Liberation Unlimited, on duty for a very unique remix.

This track started life as a DJ Tool for my sets and really kind of evolved from there. Its an ode to the David Morales Def Dub remixes of the 90s when he would take a huge vocal track and strip the vocals bare and then layer to create a darker grittier 5am vibe.
The track was created by stripping back Mousse T's superb Funk mix of the original.
