French outfit Happiness Therapy continues its release schedule this September with a brand new EP from Glasgow-based Spanish artist Dan Be. The four-tracker, aptly named Makes Me Happy, also features a collaboration with Portuguese talent Bernardo Mota.

Y4 Collective head Dan Be is no stranger to the Happiness Therapy family. An accomplished producer, he first debuted on the label in 2021 via Happy House, Volume. 3, before appearing on the VA’s fourth edition later that year. Now, Makes Me Happy marks his first full-length feature on the imprint, continuing a highlight 2022 for the fast-emerging Spaniard.

Brooklyn Baby is a french DJ and Producer based in the greater Paris area. He has released his 1st EP "Hold it" in 2020 on Fresh Take Records. His music is very housy and dancefloor-orientated, built around jazz, hip hop, funk & disco samples. He draws his influences from the 90s House Scene but also from nowadays producers such as Sebb Junior, Angelo Ferrari, Kerri Chandler or encore Adryiano...In 2022, Brooklyn Baby is signing his first EP "For The Soul" with Frappé to much success !

Shortcut is a Parisian-based duo who - over the last 2 years - has crafted its own interpretation of electronic music into a wide range of productions. Their work is blurring the lines between House music and a more minimal sound, proposing undertones of Jazz and chillout vibes. Their tracks have earnt a spot on some great labels such as Sake, Deux Mesures or Tento.

Colombian house music producer, influenced by Blues, Jazz, Hip Hop and Lo-Fi, his career as a deejay began at an early age in his hometown, Cali, where he shared with several artists on the scene at that time. After a long break he moved to Medellin where he began his first steps as a producer experimenting with various genres and that is how he managed to connect with strong artists in the city and have his first shows in the most renowned nightclubs in the mountain city. He had the opportunity to play in places like Salón Amador, Calle 9+1, Club 1984, Mansion Club, Vintrash, Mute and many more locations. He currently lives on the paradisiacal beaches of Cancun Mexico and is fully dedicated to his project as Craftsmanship.

Half Belgian, half Portuguese Alexandre Bastos has an approach that’s seen him spend the last few years colliding different genres into percussive sounds filled with both confort and discomfort. He previously released on Listen Festival’s compilation, and is now revealing his latest project on his label Cosmic Breeze Record.

Provocatively named «Golden Spunk», this EP contains 4 percussive jazz-infused house broken beat tracks, in which, he shares the feeling of «Spunk», meaning « courage ». Living in a Golden era, filled with daily pressure all around, determination and courage are both paramount to one’s understanding of what’s needed in our individual and collective journeys.

NYC's Underground System are back with a sparkling five track EP of originals and remixes on Razor-N-Tape fusing left field funk with Balearic ethos and a ton of non-stop energy.

Our premier from the EP is the lead track Looking in which has that essential NYC cool flowing through it's veins. Slick vocals sit atop some outrageously tight bass and drums with distorted guitar and brass licks aplenty adding to the forward motion. One of the bands finest moments to date and that a big claim to fame.
