Masmöd, a portmanteau derived from the words “massive &amp; modulation“, is the musical guise of Michael Anthony John, a self-taught Audio / Visual artist and native to Portland, Oregon. With intimate and ethereal sonic movements, Masmöd’s melodic drones wash in and out of focus like a forgotten ocean current, filling your eardrums with sonar-like frequencies and eerie, ghost-like textures. Like a fleeting trace of an elusive poltergeist.
