Scott Hendy aka Boca 45, a UK native and long sought after DJ delivers the first single off his forthcoming project Forty Five. Boca has been an institution for over 20 years, known for spinning rapid fire mixes of bone-cracking breaks, hip hop and R&B hits, funk jams and heavy soul, all of which considerably influence the sounds heard on the album. A celebration of his 45th year on Earth, Forty Five is Scott Bocas life story in twelve cuts; the soundtrack to an immersion in sound; an honest personal statement and the result of a decades-long dedication to donuts and scratching 7” 45s from Bristol to Belfast.

The first featured single, “Brian Munich’s Theme” showcases some of the heaviest influences on Boca’s discography with a dynamic funk beat, infectious guitar riffs and light organ keys reminiscent of a golden age of musical exploration and experimentation. More singles are on the way leading up to the July 12th street date, and crate diggers everywhere will be happy to know the LP can become a part of their collection upon worldwide release.
