Currently amassing 43 years of career (at the age of 59), he embodies the pure and timeless essence of the art of DJing, defending and keeping vinyl culture alive and always reinforcing the importance of researching music beyond the obvious, because only then is it possible to tell different and exciting stories with each new performance that can last for 2 or even 12 hours.

Longtime resident at the iconic Watergate, his trajectory includes extended sets at Panorama Bar, DC-10, Warung Beach Club and D-Edge, as well as festivals like Fusion Festival and Melt! Festival. His music has been released on labels such as Kompakt, Poker Flat, Watergate, Compost and Upon You Records.

In this one-hour mix, Marco delivers a deeply personal selection of 19 tracks, reflecting key moments from his journey in music production.

"It’s an honor to present—after Luna City Express—another exclusive mix for Just the Artist. Putting my favorite own productions and remixes into one DJ mix was way more challenging than expected. Emotional too… because this journey has been going on for quite a while now.

I was never a “hit” producer, and definitely never a hyped DJ. But 30 years behind the decks—including 18 years as a resident at Watergate—taught me a lot, kept me curious, and (hopefully) versatile. I still love warm-ups as much as closings, long sets just as much as prime time. It’s all part of the story.

My sound lives somewhere between Minimal, Deep, Trippy, Groovy House and Techno.
Digging through my own catalog for this mix was a proper trip… damn, I’ve released a lot. Some might say too much. I say: it is what it is 

Thanks so much for the love and support over all these years. I hope you enjoy this one-hour ride through my career. The flame is still burning—and it’s not going anywhere.

In the last year, Dynacom and Bodai have become two of Buenos Aires’ foremost light bearers. The couple’s fledgling imprints, Auditen Music and AMITABHA, continually grace the sets of their countryman Hernan Cattaneo. The latter, celestially themed label now welcomes its second artist from outside Argentina. Based in Missouri, USA, Masserné burst onto the prog house scene in 2017. Several releases on the Abstract Space family of labels later, he delivers the gorgeous “Temple Cedres.” Like mighty trees rising from earth, the title track swells with organic atmosphere.
