Paramour started learning piano at the age of 4. Later he studied Organ and Composition at the Conservatory of Music in Piacenza (Italy).
His love for electronic music made him join the prestigious dance label Media Records in 1994, where he was credited for numerous international hits, like Cappella, 49ers, Sharada House Gang, Clubhouse to name a few.

He moved to New York in 1999 where he continued to produce and remix for numerous artists and labels.

His DJ career started in 2008 in London. Since then, he has been DJing at many major clubs in the U.K. and around the world, bringing his very distinctive style: a mixture of Indie-Dance, Synth Wave, Dark Disco, Techno and Electronica.

His contribution either as producer or musician/sound engineer has been featured on labels like Tronic, Rebirth, Glasgow Underground, Toolroom, Nervous, Sony, Koolwaters, Armada Music, Makin Moves, Stereophonic, Duffnote, Hotfingers and many others.

In the prime window of 3 to 4:30 AM, at Darklands 2024: Fusion for Hustlaball, in Antwerp, Belgium, the air was thick with anticipation and vibrated with the collective pulse of thousands of European fetish enthusiasts. 

Ambient layers unfurled into a rich tapestry of sound, where harder, faster beats met the intricate beauty of melodic techno, creating a symphonic journey that was both intense and uplifting. Surprising bursts of pure nostalgia served as brief interludes that evoked the past yet felt entirely at home in the forward-thrusting momentum of the night. These elements combined to create a sophisticated soundscape, where each track was not just heard but felt. 

It was a convergence of the cool, the unexpected, and the profoundly personal, all playing out under the spell of the Antwerp night.

Massimo Paramour is a musician in every sense of the word. From organ soloist and orchestra conductor, to music producer and remixer: after graduating from the Conservatory of Music in Pipe Organ and Composition, his career in the dance music business kicks off in 1994 at Media Records (Italy), where he gets involved in the creation of dance-hits for Cappella, 49ers, Sharada House Gang and Clubhouse. As he takes over Heartbeat records in 1996, he produces alongside Ashley Beedle, Gemini, Ralphi Rosario, Roc & Cato, Chris Coco, A Man Called Adam, to name a few. He then relocates to New York and remixes songs by De'Lacy, Shawnee Taylor, Jimmy Somerville, Tito Puente, Angie Brown, Jocelyn Brown, Michele Blade, Debbie Pender and many more. 
Based in London since 2004, he has been ingaging in an intense activity as music arranger for various recording studios including the legendary Abbey Road. He writes music for adverts, art exhibitions and cinema and also starts Djing in a few clubs, rapidly gaining solid reputation for musical innovation and originality. He has been playing all around the world and is now resident DJ at Matinee in London.   Recent collaborations with Gianluca Pighi and DJ Pagano have resulted in the release of  internationally acclaimed tracks and remixes.
His latest single "Waiting" feat. Alexander Price, recently reached No 32 in the Beatport Indie-dance Chart.
