SEXORES, banda de shoegaze, dream pop y synthpop ecuatoriano residente en la Ciudad de México nos muestra parte de sus influencias y música de su colección. Un recorrido por sonoridades espaciales con profundas y melancólicas líneas melódicas expresadas a través de ecos y sintetizadores.

Desde su concepción en 2009, SEXORES se ha convertido en una de las formaciones más estables del circuito latinoamericano. Bordeando el dreampop y la experimentación, construyen un sonido sofisticado a través de programación, sintetizadores análogos y paredes de guitarras que conducen al dulce caos melódico del shoegaze y a la paleta de texturas futuristas del synthwave.

Con "EAST / WEST", un álbum doble y el tercero dentro de una prolífica discografía, aplaudida por la crítica internacional especializada, la banda continúa recorriendo festivales y salas de conciertos de todo el mundo. En 2019, preparan su debut en directo en México y anticipan el lanzamiento de un nuevo álbum que sigue las exploraciones de su sucesor pero recoge matices más oscuros y agresivos.

Shoegaze, dream pop, and synth pop  band   from Ecuador SEXORES resident in Mexico City shows us part of their influences and music from their collection. A tour of spatial sounds with deep and melancholy melodic lines expressed through echoes and synthesizers.

Since its conception in 2009, SEXORES has become one of the most stable formations of the Latin American circuit. Bordering dreampop and experimentation, they build a sophisticated sound through programming, analog synthesizers and guitar walls that lead to the sweet melodic chaos of the shoegaze and the palette of futuristic synthwave textures.

With "EAST / WEST", a double album and the third in a prolific discography, applauded by specialized international critics, the band continues touring festivals and concert halls all over the world. In 2019, they prepare their live debut in Mexico and anticipate the release of a new album that follows the explorations of his successor but picks up darker and more aggressive nuances.

Nuestro cuarto LP es una seductora y siniestra interpretación de algunas historias de brujas y libros mágicos que han llegado a nosotrxs y se han condensado por medio de leyendas y tradiciones orales de las distintas culturas que hemos ido conociendo. Este compendio de cuentos y sonidos podría convertirse en su propio ritual para invocar a sus demonios personales y enfrentarlos en la oscuridad de cualquier noche de insomnio y ansiedad.

'Salamanca' es una evocativa obra que honra a todas aquellas mujeres que han sido asesinadas injustamente en épocas cuando las instituciones temían que el poder pierda su centro patriarcal. La Caza de Brujas es sin duda uno de los sucesos más nefastos de la historia moderna y, en este álbum, contamos algunas crónicas que buscan reivindicar la imagen de muchas mujeres etiquetadas de esta forma. Las letras son el resultado de una exhaustiva investigación que recoge elementos del folklore de varios puntos del planeta y absorben una inusual potencia y significado cuando la música se adentra en los pasajes más oscuros que hemos explorado en colaboración con diversas artistas de Latinoaméricana: una mezcla de darkwave, dreampop, poesía, magia y experimentación sonora. 'Salamanca' es una fiesta pagana, un aquelarre, una celebración y el cierre de un ciclo de 10 años de trabajo.

En su mayoría, se utilizó software libre para la producción de este álbum, evitando las restricciones implícitas al momento de usar software privativo y buscando la independencia tecnológica dentro de una obra que persigue la libertad como principal objetivo.

Named after Kay Harker from 'The Box of Delights' by John Masefield, I'm Master Harker, an experimental acoustic guitarist/singer/songwriter from Bream, The Forest of Dean, England. I sing songs about the human condition: love, pretend love, bullying, fear of death, and well...death! Described by some as a sadcore/slowcore artist, I like to expand on these genres, adding styles such as jazz, flamenco, punk, blues, folk and shoegaze into the mix. In the recent past I've been  joined by folk-violinist Florence Meek and fellow acoustic experimenter Edward Shipsides, Presently, I am collaborating with 12 string guitar legend, 12 Strings of Furry. In my songs I also play mandolin, bass, ukulele, banjo-guitar, drums, mellotron, melodica and keyboards. Appearing in some songs are a number of homemade stringed and percussion instruments, which I build to suit the song.
