Here is a small collection of my favorite cuts I've made in 2021 so far. All beats are sampled based using, vinyl, cassette, etc. using an Sp 404/MPC to piece everything together.

Jill Scott - Golden (Kaytranada's Life Living Edition)

The last real highlight of the lecture was when he played one of the last beats J Dilla ever produced. He explains how sick Dilla was at the time and that he couldn't really express himself through words. So instead, he would express himself through the beats he made. His last beat samples Funkadelic's "America Eats its Young" record and really symbolizes how he was feeling towards the end of his life.
