This is for the ToastBeard pony related weekly compo, this weeks theme was "How a rainbow is made"

So with taking a darker tone on this it wouldn't make much sense without lyrical content, sucks for you, HAR HAR.

Now A Rainbow's tale isn't quite as nice as the story we knew of sugar and spice
But a rainbow's easy once you get to know it with the help of the magic of a pegasus device

Let's delve deeper into rainbow philosophy
Far beyond that of cloudsdale's mythology
It's easy to misjudge that floating city
With it's alluring decor and social psychology
But with all great things comes a great responsibility
That of Cloudsdale's being weather stability
How, you ask, are they up to the task

Edit on Saturday 10 march:  I'm still speechless how much attention this song is getting, this is my first full and serious song I ever made and from this day on still by far the most popular. The original concept didn't take long but the polishing, went over the course of 1 month.

Credit for the original tune and incomparable lyrics goes to Lionel Bart, who wrote them for the musical Oliver!  Credit for the guitar-pluckin' goes to my mother, and blame for the somewhat-rewritten lyrics, as well as the insufferable singing, is all mine.  I admit that the final result isn't exactly easy on the ears, but then it IS supposed to be Aldrovanda singing; a little discordancy probably adds to the verisimilitude.
