Muzshroom is the project created by Murray Field in 2005. He started learning to dj with help from his good friend Dr Tom. At the time he played goa and full-on psytrance. As the years passed he began writing his own music, whilst gaining a deeper appreciation for minimal styles. Now deeply dedicated to progressive psytrance, his music is dark, anti-melodic and a pain in the ass for the next door neighbours. 
Current influences are from artists such as Elegy, Serious Porn Collector, Bufo, Dohak, Minimal Criminal, Tijah, the Cyber-Punk Chronicals and Neuromodulation

Mentored by one of Victoria’s best DJs (and sound techs); Mitch’s describes his music as a blend of bush prog, earthy tribal, and psytrance. Mitch his journey with music in 2017 when he began to intently study his mentor’s experimental approach to electronic music.
