 Kalevi Louhivuori aka KALE is one of Finland’s finest up-and-coming musicians/composers. He has toured around the world (Asia, Australia, Africa, U.S.A, Europe etc.) for concerts and giving workshops (Singapore Jazz School, North Melbourne Institute of Music, Kenyatta University in Kenia, Saxion Hogeschool in Holland etc.)
Kalevi has performed with many jazz legends of today like Dave Liebman, Al Foster, Hugh Masekela, Bob Mintzer among others. He works in numerous different bands & productions and is the leader of The Northern Governors, Sun Trio and Kalevi Louhivuori Quintet.
Among playing trumpet Kalevi is also a composer, arranger, producer, keyboardist, singer and a co-founder and CEO for J.K.L Productions Oy and Taction Enterprises Inc. He writes music for all kinds of bands and his music varies from jazz to pop, from classical to afro-beat, from big bands to choirs and orchestras.

Match&Fuse (M&F) is a touring exchange network and annual festival with the primary aim of connecting creative scenes across Europe. With an emphasis on local culture and its transmission across borders M&F facilitates shared platforms for like-minded artists and the creation of new artistic material through international collaboration.

1. Aesthetic
M&F aims to work within underground scenes that comprise distinctive audiences built  through cutting-edge artistry. M&F is typified by an innovative and alternative approach, with artistic diversity given common purpose via strong artist-group identities and through dynamic performance or practice.

2. Partnership
M&F facilitates equal partnerships between artists; this implies an aesthetically appropriate ‘matching’ of artists, as well as a logistical and administrative blueprint for management and promotion that is fair to both parties for international exchanges (utilising local knowledge relative to each artist’s country) and appearances at festivals or showcases.

3. Collaboration
The creation of new artistic works is central to the M&F philosophy. New work is usually formed in a live or practical setting through the ‘fusing’ of groups or artists’ individual approaches, but can also involve specially pre-composed or -conceived work, and recording, rehearsal or workshop sessions.

4. Audiences/Venues
M&F aims to work alongside promoters, venues and audiences, encouraging open channels of communication, ‘risk-sharing’ between all parties and the financial stability of events and programmes, while still creating an environment that encourages quality artistry.

5. Business/Administration
An enterprising outlook is essential for any artist or group as it provides them with a diverse range of opportunities. M&F strongly endorses such entrepreneurial practice within all of its projects. As with its relationship with venues, risk is shared between M&F, artists and promoters, encouraging each party to take on responsibility for the success of each exchange or collaborative project.

6. Legacy and Development
M&F believes in collecting high-quality media from each event, in order to document the creation of new work, create a long-lasting legacy for each project and disseminate it effectively through online sources. Similarly, evaluative data, marketing techniques and merchandising are central to developing audiences: M&F is constantly striving towards strong relationships between artists and their public.

7. Education
M&F education projects challenge the setting within which contemporary art is received and studied in order to develop audiences of the future and continuously expose young people to high-quality creative work.

The essence of Match&Fuse is encapsulated in its name: artists, exchanges and audiences are ‘matched’ to ensure equality across projects and to provide appropriate platforms for creative practice to thrive. They are then ‘fused’, creating cutting-edge new work, breaking down barriers between genres and cultures, and challenging pre-conceptions: in sum, exporting vibrant, dynamic artistry across Europe.

From hip-hop, Turkish rock and Asian pop, the FDF have been forging their own style of psychedelic disco mashup for over 10 years. Formed in the late 1990s, the group has remained a bastion of unpredictable sound and eclectic performances in Japan, covering everything from demented carnival sideshows to howling Delta-blues noise.
After a succession of new wave vocalists, the FDF emerged as a trio featuring HS Love Hennessy on electronics, DJ MEMAI on turntables, and MORO on drums to deliver an eclectic concoction of stumbling beats, spaced-out exotica, and weird junk improv.

HS LOVE Hennessy（エレクトロニクス/ダブ）とMORO（ドラム）を中心に様々なゲストパフォーマーとのセッションを経て、2012年よりDJ MEMAI（ターンテーブル）を迎え、現在の3人編成となる。ぶっ壊れていくビート、おぼろげなエキゾティカ、そしてキテレツなインプロヴィゼーションで構築された予測不可能なマッシュアップがオーディエンスを別次元のパーティーへと誘う。
