While rehearsing this past summer, I recorded a few of my experimental improvisations. Throughout the rehearsals, I was exploring a range of sounds that would mesh well with The Living's live performances.

This is a live, unmixed, and unmastered recording. All of the audio is created using the KORG Electribe ER-1 drum machine.

Affiliations/Residencies/Projects: I run a program called Saturday Sound System. This is an open door, sober event out of my studio for people to socialize, learn about/participate in synthesis and music making (if they want!), and just chat with friendly people.

Advice for the DJs, artists and producers of our community: Take time to nurture yourself and your practice. Build a solid sense of self, one that you trust and can access. This solid ground is someone you can always trust to make creative decisions and to have your best interests in mind. Practicing of self-love in this way can help facilitate going further and taking risks into being more you.

This mix was made specially for Daisychain by piecing together multiple performances with analog/digital synths and samplers.
