Most songs are very old: 2005-2008. A few new ones 2014-2015. I hope to have a lot of new sounds up soon.

Mtheory is both the name of my independent home studio and one of  the names I go by as a recording artist/music Producer.  I started collecting music at the age of 6yrs old. By the time i was 15, i had over 800 cassette tapes. My first love was hip-hop and "gangsta rap" The first album i remember purchasing was N.W.A. "Straight outta Compton" It became a habit for me to listen to such music as Eazy-E, Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg, right along side the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan, and Tom petty and the heart breakers. My particular "genre-spanning tastes" are as relevant as ever today. (The Roots side by side with Johnny Cash for example) In Short I am a listener first. By the age of 11, i was positive of what i wanted to be, a music producer(if not so positive how to do it) Particularly in the fashion of some of my heroes: Rick Rubin, John Frusciante, Timbaland and Dr. Dre, to name a few. I bought my first acoustic guitar at the age of 21 but had been making my own home brewed brand of "hip-hop" long before then. In 2004-2005, i attended Full Sail University as a recording arts major. Even before Hurricane Katrina ruined my home back in New Orleans, forcing me to leave early, it was safe to say the most useful information i took out of winter Park, Fl. was the mathematics involved, not in music but in the distribution and sales of a different sort altogether, providing services for the all too willing, sleep deprived, over worked students of both Full Sail University and The University of Central Florida. I came back rebuilt with my family and started again on the lone quest of my dream of creating and producing music of all genres. I was in quite a few bands, as a guitarist/song-writer, one of which produced by first Worldwide release Of the single ("Rooftops on the 4th of July") from my band, with Jason (Freelow). Archaic Roots' (which i had written while living in Lexington Ky a few years prior.) On a record  called "The Earl Sessions" in late 2007. This song was discovered via MySpace circa 2007, and released via Quick star Productions and made the album Chill out: an acoustic compilation, a world wide distribution company. It seems my work was finally paying off, but it's funny how those things have a way of bringing false hope. My heart was broken by this company's lack of promotion almost as much as the woman who inspired the very song that was discovered. I kept working and sitting in with the likes of New Orleans bands as often as possible, one of which, Michael Liuzza and Cafe au Lait, i served as temporary lead/rhythm guitarist. I still sit in with my fellow Crescent city musicians as often as possible while creating my own music at my home studio. My first official independent album, ( a five song EP) called "Out of your Mind" was released worldwide, on January the 7th, 2014. It is a concept album which features my good friends Michael Liuzza (of American Idol infamy) on Piano, Organ and Keys as well as Native American flutist, Jonathan Warren. This is the first of many independent releases as i continue my mission to spark hope and positive emotions and give back to the institution that has been giving to me my whole life.
