Mekke Marit mixes different styles of techno and like to build stories through her sets. Focused on a deep progressive groove using elements from psytechno, psytech, minimal and dark techno she creates a musical journey.

Mekke Marit got into the electronic scene in 2005, listening to drum´n´bass and dubstep going out clubbing in Oslo city, close to her hometown. Later she discovered the psytrance and techno scene resulting in many years of dancing and enjoying the music. Getting to know the scene, Mekke Marit was intrigued by the style of mixing music, and in 2014 she started djing. 

The following years she’s been developing her style playing at different venues and forest parties such as Alfheimr Festival 2016, Femme Fatales, Schnabel, Verkstedet bar, Musikkens dag Oslo, Extra Delicious events and more. 
Today, she keeps on mixing and learning to make her own beats, having fun in the studio.

Mekke Marit is based in Oslo.
