Mathias Claus - www.mathiasclaus.com - is a Jazz pianist - and lately singer - based in Germany, educated in Hamburg and Berklee College of Music Boston USA. This site contains exclusively compositions by MC. I never tried to sound like any other pianist. I just follow my emotions in improvisation. If you say jazz is a free kind of genre that does not really accept rules, then i am a jazz pianist. If you say jazz has to sound like .... I am not a jazz pianist.
