Tom Schön:
His name says it all. What could be better than BEAUTIFUL music for the ears? Because it invigorates both mind and body.

He began DJing in 1998, spinning electronic music that had been influential to him since his youth. He has never lost his love for music. Now, with over 25 years of experience, he also boasts numerous original productions.

His sound ranges from Progressive House to Melodic House, Melodic Techno, and Techno.
His motto: #schönodergarned (beautiful or nothing)

Throughout his career, Tom Schön has released music on labels like Aviary Recordings, Dear Deer, Audiolab, Jaw Dropping, Rezongar Music, Sinedie Records, Amber Music, and, of course, his own label, audioVENE Records.

After 10 years as a resident DJ at U60311 in Frankfurt, his home base has been at the Frankfurt venue TanzhausWest since 2013, where he plays for the COLOURS event series.

Since 2013, he has collaborated with his long-time friend and colleague Richard Sturm under the name SCHÖN & STURM. Together, they've released numerous tracks and remixes.

His latest project is called 2BB, which stands for "2 Big Buddys." 2BB consists of Swen Baez & Tom Schön. The two have known each other for ages and have played together at many events and festivals. Their first joint release, including remixes, has already been launched on droomschipp Records.

A circle is endless. There is no beginning and no defined end. And whilst there has been a beginning for Jannowitz Records, there is no foreseeable end whatsoever. That is why the Circle compilation could not fit better to the current situation of the Cologne based label. For this particular Compilation. Jannowitz main freaks BOHO selected artists and some banger tracks to celebrate the staircase to heaven that we are climbing at this very moment. 

US underground DJ Eric Louis from New York contributes  two tracks to the EP -- “West Side Highway” and “Doorway To The Days” -- that contain exciting build ups, distorted patterns and hi-hats that give both tracks a dark and evil touch.

So we at Digital Diamonds are very pleased to present you 2nd EP by Lampé on our label: Three progressive techno crackers that proof his sophisticated sound design and cinematic production skills.  
The cherry on the top is a crunching and stomping Joseph Disco remix of Crystal Cave, which at the same time is Joseph’s debut track on Digital Diamonds.

Hatzler knows the dancefloor intimately. The Hamburg-based DJ and producer starting out collecting records and producing his own cassette tape edits. He got his first break with André Winter as Motion Unit, releasing various records for Oliver Huntemann’s renowned Confused Recordings. Hatzler’s musical influences are vast, ranging from early electro-funk and ‘90s experimental techno via Warp and Detroit, through to the multifarious strains of house and techno of present today. 

All these influences are present in Hatzler’s own productions, which have been steadily mounting over the years. His trademark use of rhythmical chords permeate a rich catalogue of artist EPs for labels like Senso Sounds and Stil vor Talent. He’s also an in demand remixer, famed for reworking Oliver Koletzki’s “Iyéwaye” and Dubfire & Oliver Huntemann’s “Humano”, in addition to others for the likes of Set About and Suara. In 2016 Hatzler was nominated best techno artist in Beatport’s DJ-voted end of year polls. It’s a testament to his sway in the dance music community. As a DJ Hatzler brings his extensive knowledge and experience to the booth, delivering deep and excursive sessions that will keep you glued to the floor for the duration—be it at sunrise at an outdoor festival, or locked into the perpetual nighttime of clubland.
