Horizome est un collectif ouvert, présent depuis 2009 dans la maille Jacqueline, à Hautepierre, Strasbourg.

Au travers de diverses actions culturelles (ateliers artistiques, déploiement d’outils numériques, aménagements participatifs, accueil d’artistes en résidence en interaction avec les habitants, festival/expositions/événements), Horizome invite à l’échange et tente de révéler les dynamiques locales, travaillant dans le sens d’une dé-stigmatisation des quartiers populaires. Il œuvre à montrer et développer l’appropriation de la ville par ses habitants à travers la prise en compte des cultures, l’expression des créativités et les interactions entre le savant et le populaire.

Sa spécificité réside dans son mode d’action, qui privilégie une démarche transdisciplinaire qui mélange les arts, les sciences sociales (sociologie, anthropologie), l’architecture et l’urbanisme, en relation avec les habitants et d’autres associations du quartier. Amateurs, praticiens et chercheurs articulent ainsi leurs compétences, et diffusent les résultats sous la forme de productions originales (films, photographie, cartographie, 3D, multimédia, articles, publications, design graphique, performance, architectures).

Aux mesures des battements de coups de coeur sonores, différentes compilations digitales, accompagnées de focus sous forme d'EP vynil composeront la sinusoide de l'électrocardiogramme du label.

On B side stands Atrys, an experimentation that brings real honnest beauty, melting harpishchord, violins, electric guitars and effects... Plus somes good electronic Bass.... That B side is a superb thing... sometime dropping into abstract Hip Hop like for B2 (Mer Des Energies)... Last track is also fat, with its electric guitar loops... This is Music. Slowcore Records is the label for all slower Techno and Hardcore styles. While, for example, the Low Entropy releases showcase slower Doomcore, or other releases also showcase slower Industrial, this release is about a more experimental approach to slow and hard electronic music.
Low tempo Hardcore meets influences of Dub, French (instrumental) Hip Hop, Noize, and a heavy dose of old and new Tekno and Free Party elements.

The most unusual release on Omnicore Records so far?
We are proud to give you this split EP by French producer LKPAS, who has also released on Slowcore Records before, and hiroshi matsui from Japan.
LKPAS' side is very down, dirty and distorted, bordering on Slowcore, Dub, "Teknival Rap" and Hardcore from France (not Frenchcore!). Gritty and rough. As well as including a more reduced track that employs a Piano!
hiroshi matsui's side is more upbeat and cheery in comparison. Sounds that could fit well to a video game soundtrack, but that are also very innovative and daring at the same time, with traces of Oldschool Drum'n'Bass, IDM. Bleeps and noises that make well-crafted tunes.

So, these are split sides that each go their own way, but when combined, result in a complete EP of connections and interrelationships.
