Founder and A&R of @lifeanddeath, Manfredi Romano grew up tour-managing punk bands and organizing left-field music events in Italy around the turn of the Millennium. Having completed his studies in computer science at the University of Pisa, Manfredi went on to form DAZE, Italy’s first booking agency solely devoted to electronic music. Drawing on two decades of experience behind the scenes, Romano shifted focus  in 2010, establishing himself as a DJ in his own right. 

As a performer, Tennis valiantly showcases an astute ability to create intimacy in even the vastest of gatherings. As a respected producer, Romano consistently channels his past relationships with post-rock luminaries such as Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Tortoise and Fugazi into intricately-synthesised electronic constellations. Known for his Artist Management capabilities is responsible for breaking artists like Tale of Us, Mind Against and Carlita.

Fine chef and restaurant owner, Tennis splits his time between Paris and Miami, where he enjoys riding motorbikes, collecting vintage action-figures and building upon his vinyl record collection - which now numbers over eleven-thousand strong.

It's a connection that started in Belfast where his party The Night Institute is the stuff of legend, with a notorious reputation for throwing riotous parties in pubs, clubs and open-air spaces in the city.

Now he’s taking that unique feeling across the globe to Fabric, Sub Club, Panorama Bar and Pikes, stopping in Australia, Japan, Paris, Amsterdam, New York on the way. A fierce champion of club culture, Jordan runs both the Nocturne and The Night Institute labels, where he curates his vision of the future of club music. As an artist, he showcases his versatility on seminal labels Correspondant, Polari, Permanent Vacation & Gudu dipping into low slung electronics, italo-tinged house and peak time club energy as the mood takes him. Mainstage support comes from the likes of Peggy Gou, DJ Seinfeld, Gerd Janson & Jennifer Cardini, while Nocturne remix duties have taken in everyone from David Holmes and Inner City to Cormac and Django Django.

With energetic & propulsive DJ sets joining the dots between all facets of cutting edge electronic music, Jordan’s versatility sees him equally as comfortable in intimate sweatboxes and big stages. This has resulted in a dedicated following of clubbers has been built off the back of stand-out live sets and timeless mixes for Mixmag Lab, Boiler Room, BBC Radio One & Circoloco.

Biography 

Musumeci is the musical project of Mauro Di Martino, a Sicilian DJ and producer active since the late 80s. Through his numerous and always surprising productions — more than 200 releases and remixes in the last 10 years alone, appearing on labels like Bedrock, Compost Black Label, Diynamic Music, Future Disco, Innervisions, MoBlack, Kompakt, Permanent Vacation, Sudbeat, Toy Tonics, Universal, Watergate, and many more — he has largely contributed to putting Italy on the global map of electronic music.

Whether on his own labels — Somethingnu, Engrave Ltd, Buttress, and Multinotes — or through his various collaborations and remixes for artists such as Emmanuel Jal, Bob Sinclar, Kungs, David Guetta, MoBlack, and Crystal Fighters, to name just a few, Musumeci is committed to shining a light on promising talents as well as heartfelt, distinctive personalities, all while continuously expanding his musical world and knowledge.

His extensive experience on the dancefloor and in the studio, his ability to fully embrace the musical moment regardless of genre, and his ongoing quest for pure, colorful emotions of all kinds make him one of the unmissable figures of the contemporary electronic music scene.

Emma B is a dynamic force, blending music, fashion, and curation into a unique vision. As one of the most exciting French artists on the European electronic scene, she has captivated audiences with her rhythmically charged sets, drawing energy from a distinct 80s and 90s aesthetic.

Originally from the South of France, Emma B began in the local scene with her All Night Long performances, showcasing her versatility. Now based in Paris, she quickly established herself by curating her own night at Sacré and making her mark at the city’s leading clubs.

Emma B blends Minimal House, Hard House, and early Trance, inspired by UK and Ibiza rave cultures. Her sets, influenced by artists like Seth Troxler or Job Jobse, have taken her to top clubs and festivals like Sisyphos Berlin, Fabric London, Shelter Amsterdam, After Caposile...

Her inclusive approach to nightlife has birthed her “Notte Eterna” aesthetic—a concept that invites her audience to relive the hedonistic atmosphere of Mediterranean parties from decades past.

Her debut EP on Shall Not Fade, supported by industry heavyweights like Chloé Caillet, Pablo Bozzi, or Hot Since 82, caught the attention of BBC Radio 1’s Sarah Story. This led to the release of her new EP on STORIES, Sarah’s own label. Her tracks have since been played worldwide, affirming her status as a DJ/Producer to watch.

Former Frankfurt resident Philipp Schultheis has become a Berlin regular with lightning speed by playing well-chosen house and disco tracks.
