2 a été écrit, composé et produit par Mathilde Gaugué et Baptiste Winckler. 2 est la suite de 1, deux livres de photographies qui témoignent d’une fable bucolique dans une maison vieille de 450 ans située sur un ilot coincé entre l’autoroute et les trains. Ce sont des fragments de textes écrits tantôt dans la profondeur solitaire de la nuit tantôt dans la somnolence du matin. 2 se trouve être le résultat d’une nécessité de laisser sortir les choses telles qu’elles doivent sortir, de larmes qui transportent au loin la colère, la frustration et la tristesse. 2 donne forme, existence et légitimité à la décadence, la folie et l’hystérie. 2 se veut ainsi consolation.
