Trym // Reform Livestream March 2021

Pour ce 26ème épisode, c'est avec grand plaisir que l'on reçoit, SCARLET, membre du crew strasbourgeois Endless (@endlessafters).

Elle fait ses débuts de DJ en 2018 au sein du collectif queer 'Conspiration', avec lequel elle sort un premier VA sur le label de Calling Marianne 'Cvnt Records' (@cvntrecords), et se produira jusqu'à la fermeture des clubs début 2020 à Paris mais aussi à Lyon, Strasbourg, et Rennes pour le festival 'Bars en Trans'. C'est après le premier confinement qu'elle sort un premier EP : Black Sun / White Lies, suite auquel elle sera invitée à participer à la compilation Crysta Ampullaris vol.4 du collectif et label La Forge (@laforgemusique), signé chez Underscope. 
Finaliste du Producer Day d'avril 2021 organisé par Chineurs de House (@chineursdehouse), elle apparaîtra sur leur compilation qui sortira en septembre accompagnée
d'autres productrices de talent. 
L'émotion première que SCARLET cherche à insuffler sur le dancefloor est l'euphorie. A travers un savant mélange de techno et électro typée Détroit, et de breaks et UK hardcore qui vous propulsent dans les raves des années 90, ses sets hybrides et percussifs sont tels une montée d'amphétamines. C'est à peu près les mots utilisés par les chroniqueurs de Whypeopledance (@whypeopledance) lors de la première de son track "Table Rase" chez eux : 
"The artist bombs the electronic planet’s core with a slow but heavy concentration of creativity, making a clean sweep for new ideas. It results a powerful expressivity of violet-blue laser colors emerging
from obscure areas, bringing up a new 90’s rave atmosphere, exploding at the end into multiple fragments of viral and vital energy."

His style is influenced by Trance, EBM and early 2000 Tool Techno which is reflected in his mix.

Geneva based artist, the Chronics started playing in his basement with a few friends until he decided to go futher and started composing his own tracks. Loving a cold, raw and dark techno, his consistent DJ sets secured him a residency at “Geheimclub” in Germany.
Over the past year, he played alongside Jeff Mills, Karenn, Antigone, Truss, Shlomo, I Hate Models, to name only a few, and has steadily established his music sets with an energetic vibe. Hungry for more, he launched his label Bipolar Disorder at the end of 2016.

Toute l’équipe de ÖND vous souhaite une excellente année, que l’on commence en douceur avec la DJ et productrice Scarlet. C’est en 2018 que Scarlet rejoint le collectif Conspiration, elle participe à leur compilation du même nom sur CVNT Records aux côtés d’artistes comme Cassie Raptor ou la rennaise The Unlikely Boy. Elle joue dans les clubs jusqu’à leur fermeture début 2020, et profite du confinement pour composer son premier EP Black Sun / White Lies qui lui vaudra une invitation du très recommandable label La Forge pour participer à leur compilation Crysta Ampullaris vol. 4. Finaliste du Producer Day des Chineurs De House,  elle gagne sa place sur leur compilation Womxn Only. 
Scarlet collabore à plusieurs reprises avec le collectif Endless, avec notamment un remix pour leur artiste Cinder, et elle finit par les rejoindre en tant que résidente.

Les sets de Scarlet, à l’image de ses productions, ne se contentent pas d’un seul style. Elle mélange allègrement breaks, ghetto, techno, trance comme c’était normal de le faire dans les très hédonistes et euphoriques raves des années 90. Je vous ai dit en début d’émission qu’on allait y aller en douceur ce soir, et en effet Scarlet nous a fait un mix à écouter en retour de soirée, avant d’aller se glisser sous la couette, avec des influences break, house progressive, ambient, entre 122 et 134 BPM, et en effet ça glisse tout seul. Bonne écoute, et à la prochaine.

Welcome back to our podcast series, and this time we’re inviting ergen101 for a special episode called ‘The endless steps of an impossible grief (and counting)’. Producer, dj and label manager ergen101 dives us into his interpretation of the Palestinian genocide through pain and the grief of the loss of a friend.

Driven by a relentless pursuit of the unconventional - an oxymoron present even in his pseudonym: '101' - the basics - ergen101 navigates an ever-evolving sonic labyrinth, sometimes a fan of straight-to-the-point club bangers, sometimes at the intersection of deconstruction and experimentation.

He is involved in the Parisian break and bass scene through his collective Craquages, which he co-founded, as well as other artistic projects such as 'Clastic Binds', where he explores more industrial and deconstructed worlds with his partner ttyole, and 'happyaccidents!', where he explores more break/mental and raw sounds with Konalgad. 
They will be presenting their first live show at the @craquagescollectif release party at Le Chinois on May 17th.
