-> What is your favorite track of your new Rebellion EP and why?

I don’t really have a favorite one, just love the whole package ! But the remixes are amazing to me, I discovered Kon Faber lately and I directly felt in love with their grooves, really digging their work on their remix! On top of that, I’ve always been admirative of madmotormiquel work thru his label and productions. having him as a remixer is such an honnor, couldn’t be more happier! thanks gain to the RDT team for making this happen. 

-> what did you learn from the Corona time?

When it comes to music, it gave me a lot more time to produce of course. But Corona time was more an introspection moment to me, mostly to bring a new musical path in my projects.
I know that It was really hard for many producers out there, and it still is, but I really hope that all those crazy times will bring more caring and support between us.

-> what would you wish for the music scene in the future?

To be free again.

Creating this set took me longer than usual. I just wanted it to be special and a bit different from all the others I’ve done in my life but still with kind of a signature of me. So it wasn’t easy to find the right atmosphere and mood for it. In the end I’m really satisfied with the result and hope that you all will enjoy this journey as much as I did.

 It contains some special tracks that I've wanted to put together in a set for a long time Special thanks to all the great artists out there who are creating this beautiful music I used for this podcast!

Tune in on my set recorded @ Jupiter | Hanseatische Materialverwaltung (HMV im Exil) on 30/04/23, playing all Sunday afternoon with the sun smiling down at us. I was gifted with the perfect setting for getting out some of the finest tunes from my house collection, crafting a nice slo house ride, ranging from dub to deep to chicago. Be prepared for some good vibes, just hanging out on a sunday afternoon with friends to embrace the spring and this years first serious sun rays. Although “faster” than my previous sets, you should find yourself rewarded with some very deep and slow-rolling basslines that take it as easy as you are, accompanied with some sweet-savoury melodic grooves and topped off with some relaxing down-pitched vocals.

✍️ Während ich auf meinem Pferd über die Weiten der Prärie dahingleite, ist ein angenehmer Rückenwind mein ständiger Begleiter. Der wilde Westen zeigt sich heute von seiner milden Seite. Von Zeit zu Zeit ziehe ich meinen Revolver aus dem Holster und prüfe seine Funktionstüchtigkeit. Es ist die Ruhe vor dem Sturm. Ich habe eine Mission, welche im Ernstfall in einer Schießerei enden könnte. Während ich meine Gedanken kreisen lasse, nähere ich mich der Silvercross Ranch. Ich mache mich mental bereit, meinen Auftrag zu erfüllen.

🎵Der heutige KataHaifisch Podcast ist ein musikalischer Ausritt mit Finnish. Dabei ist dieses Set ganz und gar ungewöhnlich. So manche Passage ist versehen mit Elementen & Dialogen aus alten Western. Dadurch wird man ganz natürlich in die Weiten der nordamerikanischen Steppe versetzt. Auch bei der Trackauswahl ist der Name des Podcasts Programm. Naturbelassen und frei macht der Sound Lust auf Sonnenuntergänge und Staub unter dem Stiefeln.
