Like the short lyrics' meaning "love has no hurry", music makes contrasts on rhythms and textures even inside each part: Main theme starts with fast drums on slow melodies & has a DANCEABLE? 2nd part with lead bass guitar; Central theme makes fast tracks become slow to the left channel and vice-versa, progressing to a POST-ROCK? atmosphere. Meanwhile, two lead guitars and echoing voices complete the contrasting piece. I hope to get your feedback !!!

... sounds a bit unbelievable: I downloaded Special Cecilia's Acappella, and had no idea about the bpm or any "how to" ..... thrown into a project I had started before .... and - oh wonder - the bpm was ok, the key was ok ... so I started my "opus" ... first half is more folk music like, second half funky & quite danceable. This song is part of a bigger project. I really like making sets like “The Couch King Sofa Barn” and “The Horror Host” but they take a long time to make and I don’t think SoundCloud loves the long song format. A number of us are almost finished with another song in this project. I am excited to hear how the whole thing turns out. Massive thanks to everyone presently involved and all my future collaborators in these crazy visions. I hope everyone is having fun on the cloud. I feel like this can be a very fun time for the SoundCloud community as we have all matured and know ourselves in relation to music better. 

This song got started when another rapper first asked me to collaborate with him. He sent me a beat, but I tend to want to focus on original music from our community so I asked Joerxworx if he wanted to work on a beat with only horns in a New Orleans marching funeral band style. Joerxworx agreed and provided me with massive horns to work with! The other rapper was no longer interested by now in working with me so I asked Jon Lock if he wanted to join in and fortunately he agreed, cause I love his funky soulful vocal stylings! Russell did an amazing job mixing and mastering my sloppy drums and the rest of the track to perfection. I was also very fortunate that Wou-Wou & the Wormling was willing to collaborate on art work for this track, fully completing the spirit of community collaboration!

She's Excited! feat. Komputer & Sarahfina – New York (Is)

Promise I won't post too many more of these old band tracks but this was one of my favorites from that time...now about 20 years ago. Again, written and lead singing by Randy Arnold, who was our group leader for sure. 
Thought some SC friends might like to hear some old tracks from late 90s band Morry and I were members of - Ten Months Later. Morry played lead guitar and I played rhythm guitar and sang back up vocs. The main singer is our friend Randy Arnold who wrote this song - he's super talented. Other bandmates: Yandell Wood (Drums) and Matt Garlove (Bass), along with Peter Searcy (Cello), Steve Cooley (Mandolin/Banjo)... I'm having trouble remembering a couple others who sat in and helped with recording some other individual instruments on these songs. Recorded mainly in Matt's basement. Sadie Hawkins Dance was the name of the album.

Track shows a very delicate theme and a quite hard-riffed part, both alternating and finally flowing up to an endless symphonic dream (words are half a poem I wrote previously (not these, but lyrics below)).
