Toolroom’s Summer 2022 has already kicked off with a string of absolute heaters. Lined up next, it’s Abode’s resident DJ and frontrunner GW Harrison who is back on the label with ‘Feels Good’. The latest Toolroom outing for the London based DJ, and this time he’s enlisted the powerful voice of Laura Davie, the vocalist behind some of Toolroom’s most popular releases from Mark Knight’s – ‘If It’s Love’ to Illyus and Barrientos – ‘Disco Hearts’.

Back on the label once again after dropping last summer’s washed-out House banger ‘Out My Mind’, GW Harrison is stepping up the game for 2022. Leading onto ‘Feels Good’, a summertime Piano House belter featuring a staunch bass line and pumping groove that pushes that euphoric, hands in the air feeling to the max. There’s no doubt that GW Harrison is a DJ and producer with a stacked-out schedule of gigs and releases, and his latest outing on Toolroom is a record that’ll sound track those dance floor moments throughout 2022.

An incredible collaboration here from 2 heavyweight house artists, working together for the very first time! David Penn has a career spanning over 25 years. OFFAIAH appears on Toolroom for the first time in his career under this alias, although he was a firm part of the original Toolroom Family line up as Michael Woods. So this is a SPECIAL ONE! Mat.Joe began as a project between Matthias and Johannes, two young men based in Berlin with a deep connection to music. Back in 2006, Rap, Breakdance and Skateboarding were the passions that kickstarted their friendship and this deep connection is reflected in their music. In 2008, they formed the producer team Twomanics and concentrated on authentic and credible hip hop productions for independent artists.
As of 2024, Matthias takes on his music career as an individual, carrying the legacy that Mat.Joe has built over the last decade. Over the years, Mat.Joe has developed their trademark sound of house beats paired with rhythmic soul and hip-hop elements. The result is deep and dancefloor-qualified, warm and rough. Inspiration is found everywhere between subway rides, late night showers and favorite bars - and new ideas are always on the way, evolving with the always-changing culture of dance music and growing with the artist.
