Marco Antonio Luna Bretón, suele aproximarse a la música de manera sui géneris creando una
entidad abstracta y bien definida en sus movimientos sonoros, mismo que ha logrado sembrar en
más de 10 producciones bajo el nombre de “Markyño”; para principios del siglo XXI finca el inicio
de su trayecto dentro de los limites sonoros étnicos, formando parte de los primeros grupos
locales en la ciudad de Puebla de música Etno con el grupo “Nueve Ojo de Reptil” corriendo el año
de 1997; fiel discípulo del maestro Jorge Reyes establece rápidamente una línea entre lo sacro de
la música prehispánica mexicana y ciertas fusiones de experimentos sonoros, fusionando los
antiguos y profundos sonidos de caracolas y palos de lluvia, cántaros y tambores, flautas y silbatos,
raspadores y teponaztlis, percusiones con el cuerpo, rezos y cantos rituales en programaciones
con medios de reproducción como el discman, grabadoras de audio minidisc, micrófonos de aire,
altavoces con secuencias urbanas; el proyecto de Etno evolucionaría instantáneamente por Marco Antonio en los siguientes años.
La inquietud por seguir experimentando lo llevaría a desarrollar su propio proyecto lo que le permitiría definir su propia huella sonora, naciendo así el seudónimo “Markyño” por el cual al día de hoy se le conoce también por sus aportaciones semanales en el 105.9 de Puebla FM (Radio Huarache) con ya 11 años al aire; la convicción por las fusiones, el arte, la música prehispánica y la
electrónica desembocarían en los más de 10 discos publicados en Bancamp y Spotify, con producciones independientes en Mixcloud y Soundcloud, abriendo posibilidades y acercamientos con músicos de la talla de Tribu, Luis Pérez Ixoneztli, Lila Downs, Ruben Albarrán, Humberto Álvarez y con Ramiro Ramírez Duarte; recientemente aproximándose a las nuevas generaciones de productores Mexicanos y Sudamericanos de la escena electrónica y su fusión con sonoridades ancestrales.
Dentro de sus presentaciones en 2020 participó en el homenaje a Jorge Reyes transmitido por Ricardo Bravo (Etno Mx) junto con los grupos más importantes de la escena Etno Mexicana, forjando así un nombre, un estilo y el respeto de la escena en las últimas dos décadas. Auto denominado un Creativo Multimodal, Curador Musical y Alquimista de Sonidos Precolombinos & Electrónica Multimodal.

He is, in our opinion, one of the global world music/downtempo community's masters of blending ethno-organic house and downtempo with techno and progressive sounds. 📜 BIO 📜
https://soundcloud.com/otokrotomusic is originally from Aleppo, Syria and is based now in Turkey. Kroto has long been obsessed with electronic music, combining Progressive, Melodic and Deep House, Techno and Electronica-Downtempo amongst many others. Beginning his musical life as a drummer in Aleppo listening to Psychoaleppo and Boshoco, his library grew with his travels around Turkey, picking up records from the likes of Township Rebellion, L.S.G., Adana Twins, Solee, Clawz SG and Blancah. For Kroto, music is as much about feelings as it is about the drum and the base, all of the ones that keep you moving long after your legs are tired.

During 2018 Kroto performed with a group of Turkish and Syrian DJs looking for ways to bring their sounds to a Southeastern city with a population of over three million, but with music venues for about ten. Using a little imagination and a helping hand from a growing local and foreign fanbase, they began to put on nights wherever they could. Venues included empty swimming pools, abandoned buildings, circus tents and finally regular nights in some inner-city caves, one of the only venues that could deal with the growing crowd - and the bass.

In this outstanding creation, our guide Kroto expresses Primordial Grooves very purest conceptualization of the primordial energies as they exist in the cosmic, interstellar realms, outside of the Earth, moving through the cosmos between stars, galaxies, nebulae, and various planetary solar systems.  Kroto has included several hidden gems and underground sounds, giving us a true blessing, untainted by commercialization and bland, carbon-copied mass-production.  This same interstellar energy that Kroto brings us is found within us.  It is the supreme and divinely created microcosm of the universe.  Each human being bears the divine and the cosmic within.  Kroto will open us up and let the cosmic energies flow outwardly and inwardly, completing the process of unification with man and all of creation.  We are truly one with the universe here.
