Mixtape Muse was launched by Quinn S. in 2006. It started as a blog to post playlists for the Mixtape Muse radio program but has since grown to include music news, album reviews, show reviews, and various other music-related material.

Since its inception, Mixtape Muse has been primarily focused on the independent music community. The site is a place where we share what we love, discuss what we're passionate about, and cover various aspects of the music industry. Any material sent to us is reviewed for posting. There's so much music out there to hear and we're just trying to share a little bit of that.
