Cultivating his inimitable sound into a landmark release for the artist, the EP sees MKII continue to mutate the modern 2-step sound into increasingly surreal sonic shapes. Retrofitting the core aesthetics of late 80s proto-rave with the new twist of future breaks, there’s an atmosphere of sinister melancholy reminiscent of early Omni Trio.

From the cinematic vibes of opening track ‘Darkness’ and ‘Spice’ through to the future garage sensibilities of ‘Tank’ and ‘Stranger’, this EP showcases an artist at the height of their capabilities creating a unique strain of UK Garage that is as focused on melody and mood as it is movement.
