Mats Eilertsen,
bassplayer, composer and musician b.1975, Trondheim, Norway.
Mats plays in a number of different bands and constellations in Norway and internationally, such as the Tord Gustavsen Ensemble (ECM)
the Source (ECM) with Trygve Seim, Øyvind Brække, Per Oddvar Johansen, drums,
dutch pianist Wolfert Brederode Quartet (ECM)
He has also recently released "SkyDive" featuring Tore Brunborg, Thomas Dahl, Olavi Louhivuori and Alexi Tuomarila. 

Prior to that he released "Elegy" (2010) featuring the dutch pianist Harmen Fraanje and drummer Thomas Strønen.
