STUND is a force emerging from the underground, blending dark, groovy house with a hypnotic edge that commands the dancefloor. His sound weaves heavy low-end energy with entrancing rhythms and textures, pulling listeners deep into a world where movement takes over and time blurs.

With performances at Shambhala Music Festival across four consecutive years (2022–2025), STUND has become a familiar name in Canada’s west coast electronic scene, known for delivering magnetic, high-energy sets that bridge the gap between the underground and the main stage.

On the production side, STUND’s releases have found homes on respected labels such as Do Not Duplicate Recordings, Box of Cats, Westwood Recordings, Uprise Music, and Hood Politics — showcasing a sound that’s as refined in the studio as it is raw behind the decks.

Chicago-based artist Sherm has never stopped his relentless pursuit to create and influence since his start in 2014. His artistry and passion has given him global recognition for his accomplishments in the music industry as a DJ, Producer, A&R and Podcast Host. 

Sherm's undeniable ability to entertain is what sets him apart. He has a 360 degree skillset including performing in front of thousands at festivals, producing memorable dance music, hosting live podcasts, signing chart-topping tracks, and moderating engaging panels. 

As a DJ, Sherm has performed in major markets including San Francisco, Denver, San Diego, NYC, and Miami. Sherm has supported artists like Armin Van Buuren, Galantis, John Summit, Matroda, ACRAZE, Lost Kings, Gorgon City, Cash Cash, Shiba San, Bijou, and Walker and Royce. He has also performed at festivals including North Coast, Volleywood, Home Bass, and Amsterdam Dance Event. 

Sherm also acts as A&R for Hood Politics Records, where he has had massive influence on the label’s identity and future trajectory. The San Diego-based record label founded by DJ Susan has signed artists such as John Summit, Franky Wah, Chapter & Verse, Max Styler, Wenzday, Cloverdale, Return of the Jaded, and Jake Shore. 

With 200+ episodes released to date, his podcast Sherm In The Booth has featured global touring acts including CID, Westend, Autograf, Honeyluv, Roland Clark, Parker Cohen, LA Riots, Masteria and many more. 

With Sherm's influence growing in so many aspects of the music industry, it's clear that he is just getting started.

A influência da Música Eletrônica começou cedo para Ruan Matsuzava. Com uma família apaixonada pelo gênero, em 2007 a faixa Electrize, de Komodor, o encantou, incitando o sonho de ser DJ. 
Após extensas pesquisas, a faixa Adagio for Strings, de Tiësto, o estimulou ainda mais a estudar a discotecagem. "Sonhava em o imitar, em virar para o público de costas e levantar os braços, enquanto o drop acontecia", explica. 
Mesmo sem apoio, em 2012 teve a chance de atuar em de eventos como DJ. Com os primeiros passos, investiu em estudos de discotecagem, formando-se DJ Performer pela Yellow DJ Academy. Hoje, Matsuzava especializou-se em estilos como Progressive House e Electro House, além de desenvolver várias edições próprias para trabalhos de artistas renomados.
Vencedor da peneira para tocar na 9ª Rave Universitária (CWB), e também da 2ª Batalha de DJs da Injeção Eletrônica (SC), já passou por casas e clubs de Florianópolis, Ponta Grossa, Curitiba, Guaratuba, Irati... se destaca pelos seus mashups ao vivo, set  harmônico, com muitas tracks e sua grande presença de palco.
