For COZ, DJing is more than a creative outlet — it’s a moment of complete presence. It’s about locking into the mix, taking risks, and riding that line between control and spontaneity. Raised in Raglan, COZ was immersed in dub and reggae from an early age, while also absorbing the sounds of acid jazz (Brooklyn Funk Essentials), punk (Ian Dury, Sleaford Mods), and lo-fi textures. These influences continue to shape his genre-fluid style — spanning deep house, deep tech, minimal, Ro minimal, indie dance, dub, and punk-inflected grooves.

A pivotal moment in his journey came at AUM Festival 23/24, where his set on the Kanuka Stage marked the point everything fell into place — a realization of connection, passion, and purpose behind the decks.

Inspired by artists like  Out of Sorts, Finn Jackson, and events by LO-FI , COS leans into music that’s rich in groove and subtle energy. His mixes are often built for versatility — just as fitting for home listening or a drive as they are for late-night dancefloors. A typical COS set might open with vocal-led selections, transition into hypnotic, driving rhythms, and return to something soulful to close — always evolving, always intentional.

COZ is a selector with range, taste, and a growing presence in Aotearoa’s underground scene — driven by instinct, shaped by sound, and fuelled by the risk and reward of the mix.

No longer one of Denmark's best kept secrets, Holtoug's talent is firmly out of the bag as he touches down on hafendisko with the yearning 'Stay In Love' - a tune worthy of comparison in feel and tone to Âme's smash 2012 remix of Ry & Frank Wiedemann's 'Howling'. Marrying the drive and energy of dance music to the singer-songwriting sensibility of his indie roots, it's a delicious mélange, intense yet featherlight, booming yet ethereal: an intricate and playful soundworld characterised by breathy pads, deft percussive flourishes and a swooping, swooning bass that basks in all its glory on the accompanying Instrumental version.

On remix duties, hafendisko labelmate Yannick Labbé - best known for his work with Trickski and long association wth Jazzanova/Compost - gets all dark and menacing, adding harsh, machine percussion, vibrating subs and a dis- combobulating counterpoint of eerie, sustained tones.

Meanwhile, Martin Gretschmann (The Not- wist), operating under his Acid Pauli pseudo- nym, mutates the vocal into a cooing, howling, wah-wah as playful intertwined synth lines dan- ce and bounce off each other gleefully. Perpetu- ally inventive, otherworldly stuff!

Reassuring words right from the get go in the debut EP of Mosley Jr. A welcoming, comforting message, nestled at the start of an EP layered with dangerous thoughts, eager percussion and a general feeling of unrest. This little sentence, hidden in the introduction of this intoxicating EP tells you: trust us. 

Niels & Ijsbrand - the first also goes by name of AMyn, the second you know as a member of Stavroz, handle the situation like proud parents. Their moniker includes 'junior.', but that might just as well be 'senior'. Creative solutions, a broad scale of feelings, experience and an occasional moment of pure insanity fused with looming existential thoughts - all crammed into one EP. 
Sounds like an ordinary day for any adult.

Straight from the melting pot of Berlin, Luca Musto serves up a solid and fresh house dish in his first full EP on Moodfamily. 

The entire EP stretches the imagination and touches the borders of hip hop and electronic beats. He intertwines his own musical journey with the sounds of his hometown. It is also the attempt at a new genre by blending hip hop elements with electronic music to create something unique. 

This funky fusion expresses itself in three original tracks. "Toledo" - the first single of the EP - gives a thrilling intro to the EP. This one is sure to cause a ruckus on the dance floor.
