The Karovas Milkshake are a garage/psyche band heavily rooted in the 60-70's sound. Their frantic garage rock has been gradually moving in the direction of psyche in the last couple of years and perfected by playing countless shows and recording sessions.
Their first single 'Locomotion' (2011) was recorded at an analogue studio Magnetone Records in Moscow, while 'Freakout Factory' (2012) was taped at their own Kaleidoscope Eyes Records studio and released by Chickpea Records on vinyl in New York. The band has toured widely across Russia and played a show in Prague. Their first complete album ‘In the Shade of the Purple Sun’ (2015) presents a wide range of musical styles masterly combined together forming a fantasy picture. After the album was released on vinyl by Groovie Records in Portugal the band played a gig on GAMEBEAT WEEKEND festival in Barcelona.
