The theme of this album is water, its flow, its sound and its natural environment. 
As always, we try to bring in a touch of poetry, science fiction and fantasy.

This collaborative release aims to merge the universes and styles of different independent artists, as well as their communities. 
Comechelet wanted to collaborate with labels from various countries across the world to make the internet community around electronic music groups, and to show that geographical distance and international conflicts don't prevent artists from working together.

Ce nouvel album de 9 titres, à la fois cabaret post berlinois mais aussi électro noise, composé à partir des poèmes du livre et de textes originaux, accompagne cette balade photographique conceptuelle (sur les toits de Paris) dont le thème principale est « les anges ».
Une bande sonore aussi surprenante qu’efficace, la magie de Manu opère une fois de plus. On y croise entre autres, et avec délice, Baudelaire, Gamine, Verlaine, Dominique A, Dante Alighieri, Théophile Gautier, Joseph d’Anvers … autant de belles lettres sur laquelle Manu pose sa voix et sa musique avec autant de liberté que d’élégance.
On rêve, on plane, on danse, on sourit … « à nos anges, à nos rebelles, à la vie ».

10 years…

I did my first X-Mas Mixtape 10 years ago, full of memories after my very first trip to Japan. Ever since, I’ve been dedicating my Decembers to these mixes, around ambient tones, piano tunes, and streams of consciousness. Each year the concept changes but the spirit remains the same.

For the 10th anniversary, I had to do something special:

This year, I’ll be playing edits that I worked on exclusively for this mix: tracks from Yuzo Koshiro to Keith Jarrett, Nujabes to Vangelis, synth heroes, and OST legends.

But there are also a few original compositions: some from the Dice Game project I will be showcasing around the first semester of 2023, some that didn’t make the cut for my first album.

Because, yes, after a few years of hiatus, my debut LP was finally sent to mastering last week. But more on this later…

In the meantime, have yourselves a Merry Christmas.
