Your Aussie accent is what makes it work - it would not work any other way!

This is an acoustic cover of I Was Only 19 by Redgum.
I am well aware that when I sing in my natural Aussie accent it doesn't sound the best, but I don't care because everytime I sing or hear this song it gives me shivers up my spine. It's a powerful, meaningful expression of the hardships and horrors experienced in the Vietnam war by Australian soldiers, most of who were quite young at the time they were deployed.
