An electronic musician and guitarist who especially likes the more nostalgic sounds of the 80s. Composing and producing is my favourite hobby. Thank you to everyone who listens to my music.

I learned my first guitar chords as a teenager in the 90s, that's when I also composed my first songs. Since then, songwriting has been my passion.  In the 90s, my friends and I also founded a band that worked for about 10 years. After the band ended, I wrote songs in a desk drawer and dreamed of a home studio. I also learned to play a little piano. Since 2016, I've been slowly learning to produce music in a DAW environment, first with Garegeband and later with Logic Pro X. In the last couple of years, I've learned more about composing and arranging than in the previous several years, but it feels like the journey is just beginning. Thanks to everyone who has read this far.

I don't use AI to compose or produce my music.

Welcome to my page.

I appreciate all the comments, likes and repost that you leave me in my compositions.

I make music for fun and to get away. I have multiple styles, although my biggest influence is in electronic music.

I am self taught and learned with Music Studio 2 on a first generation ipad 11 years ago. I have never composed before. Perform more than 80 songs a year for the first 6-7 years to learn about the program and develop creativity to compose. I have listened to different types of music throughout my life and maybe that has helped me.

I still compose only with an ipad (last generation), but I no longer work only with native MS2 instruments since I have expanded my instrument library with programs such as Audiokit, Digital D1, kv331, Sunrizer, etc ...

My music can be downloaded, but not used for commercial purposes (my authorization is required).

Based in Vancouver BC, Devils Lake Revival is an active solo musical project conceived and founded by Paul Cassidy in January 2021. Drawing inspiration from The Doors, Pink Floyd, Grateful Dead, Allman Bros, Type O Negative, synth-wave and House EDM, Devils Lake Revival crafts original songs with deep core emotion and heartfelt soul essence.

The inspiration for the moniker was taken from Devils Lake in North Dewdney, Mission BC. and the last place he and his late brother Andy would enjoy fellowship together before his untimely departure from this realm. 
Paul chose this dark lake forest setting as the honorary vocal point where his ideas and music would be conceived, constructed and come to fruition.

The definition of Revival means
 “to come back to life” and he saw it fitting to meld these concepts together to breathe new life into a fresh creative artistic expression, life experience and unto himself triumphant.
