Khalif Hakim Stsallah Ruebin who is known as Kayman was born and raised in Durham, NC. He is bringing a new style in music not only in the rap game but also in the music industry. He has been a solo artist since 2009 his music is on Myspace, Soundcloud, Reverbnation, and other websites. Before he became a solo artist, he was part of a group 2Lil'Kay along with his cousin Kashif Ruebin. At one point, they decided to go separate ways and one of his friends left Durham to move back to Jersey, so he kept his career going.
