Agami Seeds of Light presents, Mariri, Altai Arar's debut single,

Altai Arara, the duo Snigdha Malik from India and Nahuel Rozandal from Argentina is a project that builds a bridge of melodies between different Indigenous cultures around the world.

Altai means Gold and Arara is a powerful and colorful bird that is big and loud. "The Golden Bird" carries the sounds of all the people from different Indigenous traditions and aims to bring light to the consciousness of humanity, to remind the importance of conserving the forests and their guardians, the Indigenous people.

Our music carries strong sounds of the nature that can bring healing and meditative states. Through this, we can discover our pure self.
Our mission is to carry out these sacred Indigenous sounds around the world, bring awareness, support Indigenous communities and share our music in ceremonies and rituals to spread the message of the ancestors that can bring healing in this world.

Suninmoon was a direct inspiration of the playfulness of my son and the aliveness that I found at a drum circle in Northern Virginia. Often it’s just my son and I as my partner works long hours, as an only child he’s the only child in the house so I try to act like a child sometimes to make him happy, to help him have a sense of belonging and to develop as a child should develop. 

You will notice Suninmoon is a delightful tune that doesn’t take too much seriously, dance, feel funky, and get funny. A drum circle can be very similar in the right setting. You drum with hands, you dance around a fire, you’re in an improvisational state of being, just like a child at play. What struck me about the drum circle was that we remained in this state of being while the sun was out until the moon arose. This playful flow state struck our being and captivated us in a way that amde time stand still. 

While making the tune my son comes home from school with this beautiful art of the sun and moon. I thought it was so lovely so we got it printed on a garden flag. It all just made so much sense to me. If you notice the tune is very funky and has funky old-school drums, known as breakbeats. The tune came so natural to me because for 12 years I was a breakbeat artist from drum n bass to Trip Hop. In a new phase of my art, the Organica that I create these days is like this mature nighttime. Bringing forth another dimension of how Suninmoon is synchronistic.

Experimenting with textures, layering sounds, and balancing contrasts, Jeweled Lotus found inspiration in the dualities of life—light and dark, chaos and order, past and present.
