Believe it or not , 8th grade & Freshman year of high school is where the house bug bit this young lad we know as dj tony jakks!!!! After seeing a group of his peers standing around listening to a cassette taped mix recorded at the famous bismark hotel downtown chicago, dj tony jakks was hooked. After attending the famous parties, he then begin to venture out and go to parties at Di'vinci Manor, ST.Peters, Club Eldorado, and any other place they were playing this hypnotizing sound that had jakks caught up in a trance.As time would move on , so would jakks, he now wanted to be the person to make people fall into a trance as did Gene Hunt and Andre Hatchett did to him. After learning the basics from his peers, young jakks begin to make his own sound and like wildfire it spreaded. taking his show on the road,(enlisted in the U.S. NAVY) young jakks gave the state of south carolina something they never heard............HOUSE MUSIC!!!! every tuesday, thursday and sunday on the naval base, as well as the air force base dj jakks earned his stripes. After a brief hiatus, marriage and workforce, dj jakks was away from the music he loved, up until he was lured back into the house! (music that is) . now dj jakks is back on the grind to play good music and make people FALL INTO A TRANCE!!!!!!!!!!!

Matt Zilla - The Birth
Born Matthew Gregory was raised in Chicago, IL, home-grown on the South side; Matt Zilla hails from a musical family. His grandmother, (Gladys Beamon AKA Gladys Beamon Gregory), was one of the pioneers of Chicago gospel and a teacher to the fundamentals of music for Matt Zilla. “Granny” encouraged Matthew daily to explore his musical talents. This encouragement sprouted Matt ...Zilla into developing his music at a very young age, where he performed at family functions.

Matt Zilla - The Club-Kid
Matt Zilla caught the House music bug in 1983 when he first heard WBMX’s “Hot Mix 5”. He took his musical curiosity a step further in the club life of Chicago. With his unique twist of style and dress, Zilla and his friends started a “club-kid” culture before New York knew what a club-kid was. With his style of music and dance, he was highly sought after by dance groups such as: The Ambassadors and Ecstasy, but he decided to start his own group: Generation 2000 (G2000) with his friend Clint. Generation 2000 gained local recognition in clubs and became a staple of Lil Louis’ parties at Medusa’s and the Bismarck Hotel. Lil Louis, Larry Heard, DJ Rush, Glenn Underground and Matt Hughes (Chicago) are major inspirations to Matt Zilla’s music. 


Matt Zilla - The Artist
Matt Zilla began to DJ in the spring of 2000 working House, Techno, and Fusion tracks to create his own style of play. He started creating his own music in 2006. Zilla has had the pleasure of working with key players on the house music scene such as Jozana Sithole - Groove Temple single (I remember), Charles Matlock (Isms) and several engineering projects with Glenn Underground. Zilla has his own project in the making set for release in 2012 and has a few underground club remixes and edits being played globally.


JD Donaldson
    James M. Donaldson was born In Madison, WI. From a early age JD was in to music . He was a chior member in the church , this led him to his musical back ground. He spent a lot of time listen to music, and going to clubs at a young age. His first encounter with Dee Jaying, came from a friend name Tim spinin shcommer, who was a local DJ. He learned some of his skills from Tim. JD moved on to doing his own gigs, starting as a wedding DJ, and then moving on to doing mixes for radio. His first radio gig was W.O.R.T. 89.9 in Madison WI. Later he moved on to be a club DJ, and do mixes for various radio stations. In the fall of 1990 JD moved out to LA, to persued his dream of becoming a Producer . Upon moving out to LA, JD secured a mix show for the radio station, MARS FM 103.1 At this point JD had crafted his skills, and met up with another producer . They did music under the production name Deep Swing. They have done many songs, such as Rise Up and Rescue Me on Yellow Orange records. Takin Me Higher On Four Play Records, and In The Music on their label Generate Music. As time moved on, so did JD. In 2004 he started his own label Big D Records. He has put out music on his label for a year. The first song on his label was called This Is Your The Straight Up E.P. The Love E.P. and The Inspiration E. P. Also out now on Big D Records Tony Jones Why We Try JD has done music under different production names, such as Inner Mind Prod, BROTHA FUNK, and JD Productions.
