JAZZVE is a wordplay with jazz. Jazz is concentrated dark matter and energy of the sound, which broke out, literally exploded in the beginning of XX century, giving birth to the whole universe of contemporary music. 
Trying to understand and realize this entropical vibration and groove, surfing on the crest of this unrestrained expansion of sound waves - the main idea of the project. 
Actually, no: we just share the good music produced by our mates. This time we invited the trinity of russian producers to create some special sunny and fresh mood of spring. Hope you will enjoy it.

MuteNoise - Northern Lights

Church is back in action with their second various artists compilation featuing brand new productions from DJ Aakmael, Aquarium, Laurence Guy & Debukas. Church has definitely been a label to watch lately after they released one of the best selling records of the year from Mall Grab but we've also been keeping an eye on another artist from the label who's been making music for a long time but only recently started to get the attention he deserves. Laurence Guy has recently dropped some great solo EP's on Church and Rose Records and contributed to compilations and split EP's on CinCin and Outplay but his latest addition to Churches Volumes 002 has the entire Phonica crew tapping our feet and nodding our heads in approval! It's strength lies in its subtlety, 'Wish I Knew' is a stripped back and piece of House music which effortlessly plays with tension and release. Minimal glitches left echoes in the space centre. The control room had gathered to observe what they would expect to be a monstrous launch. It was to be the most important mission of the team yet, the fate of humanity would depend upon their knowledge, skill, wit and might. Earth would remain within the balance of their success. All was up for grabs. 
Fine kickstart their record label with a four track EP of minimalistic tendencies. They feature two tracks from Tilman and Johannes Albert. It is the Johannes Albert 'B1' which caught our attention.

I was looking for a place to dance in the dark. A smoke filled room with a rumbling system and an ambience of excess. I asked them to bring me down to the spot, but it was not what I had expected at all. The red walls lined the room with a deathly glow, the black mist prevented my sight, I was disorientated and lost. This was not my idea of fun and I wished I had not asked them to bring me down. 

Tuff City Kids are on triumphant form as they remix M Wylde on Cultures Of Soul. When this one landed in our inbox we knew we were on a to a winner straight from the off: a winning combination. They edit the track into a high energy melodic dancefloor escapade.

Secret Crunch is a label fresh out of the oven run by fellow Vienna-based artists Roman Rauch and Moony Me. 
Both musically rooted in HipHop, Soul, Funk and Disco and expressing themselves mainly through House Music, it was just a matter of time until they first collaborated together. Thoughts about releasing their output together through an own label came naturally soon after.
The first release of Secret Crunch is a pure collaboration between them plus two additional remixes – one by Gnork and this one by Medlar & Ishmael.

The community spirit was strong as they crowded the streets. They had arrived on mass to protest against the changes which had been forced upon the kingdom of Acapulco. This place may of seemed like simply a city to some but it was in fact so much more. It was an entity, a paradise in its own right. There was a beach, a stretch of land and the sun kissed climate of euphoria. It was heaven on earth and they would fight for its very survival. The drums banged and the beat went on. 

BXP is the second artist to release on RA-1. He delivers two intriguing versions of a track titled 'Acapulco'. This is then followed by two seperately enchanting remixes from none other than D'Marc Cantu.

Just Us (And Them) EP

Just Us (Basement Dub)

Fine Records is the collaborative product of Johannnes Albert (for Frank Music fame) and klamauk's Tilman. While the first release saw the producers joining forces, the second drop was a solo release from Tilman. For the third EP, Dancefloors & You & You, it is the Berlin-based Johannes' turn at the helm, and it is our pleasure to present to you the first cut off the record.

Johannes is no stranger to employing looped discofunk samples in his productions, and "All Around" certainly fits this mold.  The track builds on a heavy disco style kick / clap and layered percussion and a funky bassline. As the lead, an irresistible postdisco era sample repeats and rises to a filtered climax. The female lead vocals of the original are slightly teased in here a la Tiger & Woods before dropping back into the main groove. It's a sweet, feel good disco house track that's certain to motivate dancefloors.
