After the success of the first A-sides compilation in 2012, Adam Beyer has decided its time to release another. With Adam’s stature steadily growing as one of the leading talents in the Techno scene and the rise of Drumcode, the standard of demo’s that have been sent to Adam have been top notch. Adam has now decided to release two compilations with 10 tracks each, consisting of tracks that Adam has tried and tested. There are also new artists that have been invited to release on Drumcode for this compilation and others who are a staple in Drumcode’s core family. Combining both old and new talents Drumcode have come up with something unique and distinctive to make this two-part compilation something extra special.

Die Augustausgabe der ToFa Nightshift wurde Pink bzw. Rosa. Denn wir hatten diesmal die sympathisch quirlige Miss Gloria Glanz in der Sendung. 

Ursprünglich hatte sie in den letzten Jahren vor allem unsere lokalen Frankfurter Gefilde als Deejane unsicher gemacht. Doch seit geraumer Zeit hat sie dies auf die Hauptstadt unserer Republik Berlin ausgelagert. Im Interview hat sie uns dazu mehr erzählt und natürlich gabs auch ein Set von Ihr. 

Davor gabs Musik vom Grille und wie üblich unser typisches Dummgebabbel und Szenetalk. So in der Themenrunde zum neuen Club Freiheit2112 und ob es eine Gute Idee ist die Nature One ab 16 Jahren frei zu geben.

We here at Second State are thrilled to bring you our new concept entitled HUB. While most labels these days are doing various artists releases to showcase the overall talent on their label, we thought it would be better suited for both our listeners and ourselves to break the mold and bring you a series of true collaborations. Each HUB release will feature a single artist teaming up with others from the Second State family to create an EP of authentic musical compromises. A place where multiple minds find a harmony somewhere outside their own identity and each collaboration conceives a genuinely unique artifact. With this, there is no one we would rather have kick off the series than the man behind the massive EPs; 'Throwl' and 'Doch', Stephan Hinz with HUB One!

Second track of the EP is Next is 'Hak' with Philipp Ruhmhardt. Together they have already made waves with their tune, 'Doch' becoming an anthem almost immediately since it's release last May. This time they are back with a stormer that feels like racing through a metropolis at warp speed. Each chord stab is a quick, bright flash of color as the shakers and hi hats impersonate the rapid pulse of a speedometer. 'Hak' is a white knuckle ride.

We welcome back Tomy DeClerque to Yellow Recordings. We are very pleased that this international super producer once again want to be part of creating techno history with us. As always, his sound and quality is unique. This original track has a special signature element that we think may be one of the summer's given tune to play. When it comes to remixes we did not save on power. It is obvious that the swedish label boss Andy Notalez is included in this release, but it does not stop here.
This time we have the honor to be working with the spanish duo Gabriel D’or & Bordoy. They are the founders of Selected Records, also touring the world and releasing music for the best techno labels. This is one of the most powerful releases so far on Yellow Recordings.
