This is also reflected within the Ruis. record label, that IKS founded together with Helsmoortel back in 2018, that besides releasing and supporting local artists focusses on offering a more varied, genre bending clubbing experience. This approach is also applied to the yearly stage the Ruis. label hosts and curates on Obscuur Festival having booked names like Hermeth, NVST, Neek and more. IKS brings a blend of electronic music with hints of UK underground nostalgia, paying hommage to the genres he grew up with. Jungle, 140, Grime, garage and 2-step are always just 1 transition away, Anything is possible.
