Hard House DJ/Producer & Tech House DJ

I have been a resident DJ for SUPERFISH!, Therapy and TO THE LIMIT! playing hard house and more recently I also am a resident playing Tech House for The Sunday Club. I have been playing for about 12 years and have played in places far and wide such as Aberdeen, Bristol, Plymouth, London, Brighton and New Zealand. My first track was signed to TinribDigital -a collab with the Captain himself. I also now play as one half of Digital Dj's - with Jim Bean - with tracks signed to Fireball, Vicous Circle, Metamorph Recordings, Hi Octane, Toolbox and Digital Damage and Disturbed Records. Digital DJ's also won the Awsum Hard remix competition.

Leighton has been involved in the rave scene from day one, since the days of free parties in warehouses and fields etc. From his very first rave he wanted to be a part of the production side. He was very lucky to become friends with a guy called Danny who ran a night called Fibre Optic. He also managed 3 other DJ's called Ratty, Tango and Fallout. Leighton started off as an MC for these guys and teamed up with DJ Paz. They both went on to play up and down the country.

Leighton's main passion was to become a DJ, so every chance he got he would put in hours of practice. Leighton soon picked it up by watching other people and asking questions.

He started off playing Happy Hardcore Jungle and Was lucky enough to play at some of the best venues this country had to offer, venue's like the Q Club in Birmingham, The Sanctuary Milton Keynes, The Edge Coventry, Club Kinetic Stoke and Vibealite Mansfield. He played these on and off for about eighteen years and loved every minute of it. 

Leighton went to his first Hard House night in Sept 2012 at Subway City, Birmingham now known as the Tunnel Club and fell in love with the music the people and the atmosphere. It reminded him of the Old School days, love for the music and everyone happy.

He then decided to mix Hard House and had some great tips on how to go about mixing the genre from the likes of James Price & Gem Stone. They made such a difference to his DJing capabilities and to him as a DJ in general.

Within months he started playing out. His first gig was for Hard Dance Central at Plug in Birmingham where he played B2B with Holly Jade. Since then he has played in clubs and events up and down the country such as Filth Face, Shine, Mystic moon, Premonition Overload, Madfam Day party at the Union Club in London, Xstatic at the Tunnel Club in Birmingham and was made a resident for Hard Nosh. 

He was very lucky to become friends with Gem stone who runs her own record label "Raw Power" and as a result has made 3 tracks with her to date. First tune was called "Break You" and reached number 6 in the Hard House charts on ToolBox Digital, that, he was very happy with. 

He then went to the Ideal weekender in 2013 where he met a DJ called Jay Middleton. They spent most of the weekend mixing and playing B2B. They got talking and decided to team up and become "Weekend Offenders". They have made one track so far with Gem Stone called "Offensive" which was signed to the "Supercharger" label and reached number 3 in the Hard House charts on Toolbox Digital. At present, things are going well. 

In 2014 he is a man in demand and will be concentrating on his solo career to really push his unique sounds.
