Matt Atom is an antifolk musician based in Glasgow, Scotland. He enjoys cups of tea, cats, taking photies and, most of all, playing and listening to good music.



I try to make stuff that sounds different... I moderately succeed sometimes, should definitely try to get more done but I'm pretty lazy.


Sick tramp family sounds is the sound scape and sound design branch of of Sicktamp. SickTramp is the name for all my creative endeavours and acts as an umbrella title for all the projects i make. This page is for my sound design and composition work. With in it you'll find a collection of sounds, compositions and soundscapes. fitting for film, games, audio stories, art art exhibitions and theatre.
I've always been obsessed with sound and making art out of the noises we hear in everyday life. I collect location recording and use them in a lot of my work,  I'm also currently working out way to incorporate them live into my  solo acoustic project( Ellis Tramp) to use as soundscapes made to work along side my songs, weaving in and out to help create the right atmosphere. i always strive to create a sense of atmosphere in all my sound work and hopefully you will see that in my work posted up here.
