Beautiful atmosphere at the beginning, with well-crafted layers and textures. The structure is nicely handled and carries a very unique flow that keeps you engaged. The bass sounds great, and the rhythmic cuts are perfectly placed, giving the track a nice movement. It feels slightly lacking in high frequencies though, the mix sounds a bit closed off, maybe something to explore in the mastering stage. Overall, a really interesting and distinctive piece.

Opening up with a haunting string melody, faint vocal chants, and a sparse organic bass, 'Animal Rage' kicks into full swing with NickBee's rugged, naturalistic drums entering the mix, before colliding with a vigorous distorted bassline. Keeping this punchy, aggressive vibe in full swing, NickBee maintains the arcane, mysterious qualities heard through the intro with style. One can't help getting caught up in counting the ways the bassline refracts and splits itself, ever changing.

Manu Chao is one of my favourite artists and he was the headliner to the first festival I attended back in 2016 in Barcelona. 
I remember listening to this particular joint on the radio in my mother's car heading the beach on a hot summer day, so many warm memories attatched to this song.
After I became a music producer listening to music was never the same: always analyzing and thinking what could i have done on a record. But, after all, there's a good thing about this behaviour.
One day, a few weeks ago, I listened to this song and I immediately thought "This has a kind of a drum and bass vibe!" 
So I immediately opened up Logic and laid down the remix like it was meant to be. I sent it over to Djs and posted a clip online and the response since then has been incredible, so yeah, here you have it! Enjoint ;)
