Matt is best know as the creative mind behind Air Formation who parted ways in April 2011. Over the past 15 years Matt has proven to be one of the most prolific, consistent and most respected songwriters of the second wave of shoegazing. Over this time Matt has released 8 albums (including three solo recordings), numerous EPs, Singles and Compilation apperances. as well as collaboratiing with Rachel Goldstar (Experimental Aircraft, Eau Claire & All In The Golden Afternoon) as ‘The Static Silence’. He has also found time to remix tracks for Kontakte and Monster Movie (Christian Savill from Slowdive) and recently announced a new band named “You Walk Through Walls” who released their debut EP Destroyed Places (Club AC30) in December 2012.
