After a sensational debut on Barong Family last year, The Majestic EP is Moksi’s first release of original material in 2016. ‘Lights Down Low’ sets the pace with a bassline that annihilates anyone and anything. It won’t prepare you for ‘In the Air’, which boasts a rave breakdown to send you into panic as soon as it hits. ‘In Your Eyes’ may be the best thing Moksi have ever produced. Is it a nice and smooth vocal house tune? Or a massive lose-your-shit-while-jumping-up-and-down-like-a-maniac kind of tune? What do you think? To round things out, ‘Get U There’ sounds like a discotheque under nuclear attack, with a groovy organ vamp (no, really) leading the throng to the fallout shelter.

After we played our first show together, the Zeds dead guys and I really wanted to do a track together. They sent me a few ideas and the chord progression for this track really stood out to me and I immediately wrote some ideas for vocal chops and arrangement. A few months later we met up in LA and got in the studio to lock in the main idea and find a vocal. I originally pictured a track between us to be a bit heavier, but once we wrote these melodies and vocal chops I really fell in love with the emotion of the track.
